
Gymhawks Finish Second at WCGNIC Finals with 194.300 Saturday

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics took home second place at the WCGNIC Team Finals with a 194.300 on Saturday night from Hollinger Field House. Texas Woman's won the event with a 195.300 followed by Bridgeport in third place (193.525) and West Chester in fourth place (193.450).
Senior Taylor Ingle led the way in her 29th-straight all-around competition as she won the all-around competition with a 39.225 including a meet best 9.875 on the floor.

- SEMO began the night on the bars and turned in a 48.150 led by Ingle with a 9.800
- Senior Kailyn Hamilton turned in an impressive 9.725 from the second spot of the lineup
- Junior Ava Johnston and senior Sydney Crouch rounded out the top scorers with a 9.650 and 9.625, respectively.
Beam
- The Gymhawks took their 48.150 running score into the beam for rotation two and scored a 48.800 which was their best team score of the night (tied with floor)
- Jaidan Kossuth led the beam with a 9.825 from the anchor spot in the lineup
- Ingle followed close behind with a 9.775 in spot four
- Freshman Kennedy Fisher scored an impressive 9.725 in her first WCGNIC Finals of her career
- Jordan Napolitano scored a 9.750 followed by Nyah Reader with a 9.725
Floor
- The Gymhawks matched the 48.800 on beam with the same score on the floor, led by Ingle's 9.875 which matched a season-high for the senior
- Kossuth continued her impressive showing with a 9.850 in spot five
- Leah Parton finished third on the floor with a 9.750
- Senior Kailyn Hamilton scored a 9.725 in her final floor routine as a Gymhawk

- SEMO concluded the evening on the vault and turned in a 48.550 led by Kossuth and Ingle who each scored a 9.775
- Seniors Ailey Kuehn and Kailyn Hamilton each scored a 9.650
- Sophomore Joselene Hernandez had an impressive showing on the vault, turning in a 9.700 from spot four
