WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics advanced to the 2026 WCGNIC Finals on Friday afternoon with a 194.350 to secure their spot in the championship round. The Gymhawks edged out Bridgeport (193.250) and Alaska-Anchorage (192.375) in the first semifinal of the day.
Senior
Taylor Ingle, competing in her 28
th-straight all-around competition, claimed the top all-around spot as she matched her season-high with a 39.275 marking the second-straight competition with that score. She tied for first on vault (9.850), tied for second on bars (9.725), placed second on beam (9.850), and won the floor with a 9.850.
Vault
- The Gymhawks opened the afternoon on the vault and scored a 48.750 as a team, led by Ingle with a 9.850
- Seniors Kailyn Hamilton and Ailey Kuehn opened the apparatus with a 9.650 and 9.700, respectively
- Graduate Nyah Reader placed second on the vault for the Gymhawks with her 9.775
Bars
- The Gymhawks took their 48.750 to the bars and turned in a 48.425 as a team for a 97.175 running score
- Newville, Pennsylvania-native Gracie Jones led the apparatus with a 9.725 in her first meet as a collegiate gymnast back in her home state
- Taylor Ingle tied with Jones in the fifth spot of the lineup, turning in her own 9.725
- Kailyn Hamilton and Joselene Hernandez each turned in a 9.675 in spot two and six, respectively
Beam
- SEMO turned to the beam for rotation three and were led by Taylor Ingle who scored a 9.850 in spot four, as the Gymhawks scored a 48.175 as a team
- Graduate Nyah Reader and junior Leah Parton each scored a 9.750 for the second highest score from spots one and five, respectively
- Jordan Napolitano finished third on the beam with a 9.600 from spot three
- The Gymhawks took a 145.350 into the fourth and final rotation
Floor
- SEMO Gymnastics scored a season-high 49.000 on the floor in the final rotation, headlined by Taylor Ingle with a 9.850 in the anchor spot
- Sophomore Reagan Sams and junior Leah Parton each scored a 9.825 In spots two and four, respectively, to help power SEMO to the finals
- Nyah Reader led off the floor with a 9.775
