COLUMBIA, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics opened the season at the Mizzou Invitational with a third-place finish, posting a 192.775 on Saturday night at the Hearnes Center.
Senior
Lydia Webb finished second overall in the all-around category, posting a 38.825 trailing only Missouri's Sienna Schreiber who finished with a 39.400.
The Redhawks tied with Northern Illinois (192.775) as Lindenwood (194.000) took second with Missouri (197.150) winning the meet.
SEMO posted a rotation high 48.700 on the floor routine followed by a 48.275 on vault, a 48.200 on bars, and a 47.600 on the Beam.
Beam
The Redhawks began Saturday night's competition on the Beam rotation, posting a 47.600 as a team. Senior
Lydia Webb posted a team-high 9.775 to lead SEMO in the rotation.
Freshman
Jordan Napolitano, making her SEMO debut, posted a 9.300 in her first collegiate action from the third spot in the Redhawks' rotation.
Sophomores
Ailey Kuehn and
Taylor Ingle rounded out the top three performers on the Beam as the sophomore duo posted a 9.550 and 9.675, respectively.
Madison Greene led off for the Redhawks, posting a 9.250. Junior
Anna Speller posted a 9.300 in the fourth spot as SEMO would rotate to the floor in rotation two.
Floor
On the second rotation of the evening, sophomore
Taylor Ingle and junior
Madison Greene led the way for SEMO turning in a pair of 9.825s from the fourth and sixth spot, respectively, in the rotation.
As a team, the Redhawks posted a 48.700 on the second rotation, up 1.1 from the first rotation of the evening.
Freshman
Jordan Napolitano had an impressive debut in her first-floor routine as a Redhawk, turning in a 9.725 from the second spot.
The sophomore duo of
Sydney Crouch and
Kailyn Hamilton made their debut in a SEMO rotation from the first and third spots, respectively. Crouch posted a 9.400 while Hamilton registered a 9.650.
Lydia Webb posted a 9.650 from the fifth spot in the rotation. After the second rotation, SEMO posted a team score of 96.300 as the meet hit the midway point.
Vault
The Redhawks posted the second highest rotation score in the meet with a 48.275 on the Vault. Junior
Madison Greene picked up where she left off in 2023 with a 9.725 to lead SEMO from the fifth spot in the rotation.
Jordan Napolitano made her Vault debut in a Redhawks uniform, posting a 9.650 as the leadoff for the rotation.
Ailey Kuehn followed as she registered a 9.600 in her first action on the Vault rotation for SEMO.
Wylie, Texas-native
Lydia Webb had a strong outing form the third spot as she earned a 9.675 to continue her impressive start to 2024.
Janelle Lopez made her 2024 debut on the Vault for the Gymhawks as the Florida-native posted a 9.625 from the fourth spot.
At the end of the third rotation, SEMO held a 144.575 team score as the Redhawks transitioned to the Bars for the fourth and final rotation of the meet.
Bars
The Redhawks entered the fourth and final rotation in third place, trailing only Lindenwood (146.050) and Missouri (147.650) and were ahead of Northern Illinois (144.325) by .200.
2023 MIC Bars champion
Lindsay Ockler paced the way for the Redhawks on the Bars rotation Saturday evening. The Huson, Mont.-native posted a 9.725 from the anchor position in the lineup.
Freshman
Ava Johnston made her SEMO debut on the Bars rotation from the number one spot in the lineup. Johnston posted a 9.550 for her first collegiate gymnastics score.
Taylor Ingle followed her up in the second spot and posted a 9.550 of her own as the Redhawks were off and running.
Kailyn Hamilton continued her strong start to 2024 posting a 9.675 from the third spot in the rotation, posting a 9.675, the third highest score for the Gymhawks.
Lydia Webb finished her all-around day with a 9.700 performance in the fifth spot in the lineup. The senior was the only gymnast for SEMO who competed all-around on the night.
The Redhawks posted a 48.200 as a team on the Bars to conclude the meet.

SEMO Gymnastics will return to action on Friday, January 12, when they host Centenary in the first home meet of the 2024 season. Competition is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m., CT. inside Houck Field House in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
