CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri (13-2, 3-0) travels to Southern Indiana (4-12, 0-3) for its final road match of the regular-season Friday.
 
SEMO meets first-year Ohio Valley Conference member USI for the first time this spring.
 
The Redhawks look to keep their program record 12-match winning streak intact. A win Friday will give SEMO its second-most victories in a season under Head Coach Mary Beth Gunn. The Redhawks have put together three-straight winning campaigns since the 2021 campaign.
 
SEMO, which hasn't lost in over two months, shut out six of its previous nine opponents.
 
The Redhawks blanked both Lindenwood (Mar. 15) and Tennessee State (Apr. 1), and upended SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 25) for their three league victories.
 
Teona Velkoska and Trinity Calinescu are the hottest in the singles lineup as of late. Velkoska enters Friday on an 11-match winning streak in singles play. Calinescu, meanwhile, has won nine singles matches in a row. Vivian Lai posted wins in each of her last eight singles bouts, as well.
 
Daniela Hlacikova, Calinescu and Lai are all 9-1 in their previous 10 singles outings, while Velkoska has gone 9-0 in that stretch.
 
In doubles play, Calinescu and Lai are on a seven-match winning streak. The pair is a perfect 7-0 at the No. 3 spots this season.
 
Combined, Hlacikova (13-2), Romana Tarajova (11-4), Tenoa Velkoska (12-2), Tinity Calinescu (10-4), Vivian Lai (10-4) and Ksenia Shikanova (10-5) are 56-21 (.727) in dual singles action for the year.
