SEMO, which hasn't lost in over two months, shut out six of its previous nine opponents.
The Redhawks blanked both Lindenwood (Mar. 15) and Tennessee State (Apr. 1), and upended SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 25) for their three league victories.
Teona Velkoska and Trinity Calinescu are the hottest in the singles lineup as of late. Velkoska enters Friday on an 11-match winning streak in singles play. Calinescu, meanwhile, has won nine singles matches in a row.
Vivian Lai posted wins in each of her last eight singles bouts, as well.
Daniela Hlacikova, Calinescu and Lai are all 9-1 in their previous 10 singles outings, while Velkoska has gone 9-0 in that stretch.
In doubles play, Calinescu and Lai are on a seven-match winning streak. The pair is a perfect 7-0 at the No. 3 spots this season.
