Redhawks Host Southern Illinois Tuesday Night at Capaha Field
Southeast Missouri (22-19, 11-4 OVC) returns to Capaha Field for a midweek battle with rival Southern Illinois (23-16, 10-4 MVC) on Tuesday, April 25. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m., CT.Â

'Fill the Hill'  is back for Tuesday's midweek matchup. Complimentary adult beverages will be provided by Kohlfield Distributing to anyone 21+ with a valid I.D. Â

Coolers are also allowed on Tuesday for fans wanting to bring their own drinks to the stadium. Fans are welcome to bring their own coolers stocked with their favorite beverages to the ballpark for a nominal fee at the gate. Cost is $10Â for any size cooler. Coolers may contain beverages only as outside food is prohibited.Â

Long-time St. Louis Blues organist and SEMO alumni Jeremy Boyer will be making his return to Capaha Field for the first time since 2007.Â

The Redhawks got out to a 1-0 lead in Sunday's contest with an RBI base hit by first baseman
Lincoln Andrews. But four MSU home runs gave the Eagles a 7-6 victory to move them into first place in the conference.Â

Following the weekend series, the Redhawks are now a game out of first place in the conference table. Morehead State moved into first place and sits at 9-3.Â

Chance Resetich, and
Josh Cameron are all hitting over .400 in OVC action. Mason is hitting .448 with a 1.206 on-base plus slugging percentage. He has started all 15 conference games in left field for the Redhawks.

Resetich is hitting .406 with a 1.020 OPS. Cameron sits at .404 and leads the team with nine home runs in conference play alone. The outfielder has driven in 23 RBIs and has a .965 slugging percentage, the highest on the team.

Jevon Mason currently ranks first overall in the Ohio Valley Conference for hits. Mason, the West Des Moines, Iowa-native, has registered 54 hits over the course of 41 games.Â

Nolan Ackerman has been steady behind the plate for the Redhawks all season. The junior has gunned down six opposing base stealers on the season.Â

Esteban Hernandez made his first career start on the mound in a SEMO uniform Saturday afternoon againstÂ
Morehead State. Hernandez pitched 5.0 complete innings, allowing just four runs on five hits.Â
