2022 Results
Redhawks Set to Compete at the 2022 USA Gymnastics National Championships this Weekend in the Empire State
Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics treks to Ithaca, New York, for the 2022 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships held Friday through Sunday at the Newman Arena at Bartels Hall on the campus of Cornell.
The Redhawks, the 2021 USAG National Team Champions, are ranked sixth in USAG in 2022 with a NQS (national qualifying score) of 193.695. No. 6 SEMO will compete in the afternoon session (first of two) on Friday against #2 Lindenwood (NQS - 194.700), #3 Air Force (NQS - 194.670) and #7 West Chester (NQS - 193.245). The Redhawks will open the session on floor in the first team semifinal set for 1 p.m., CT.
Texas Woman's, the 2022 Midwest Independent Conference Champion, is ranked first overall (NQS - 195.240), and will compete in the evening session (second of two) on Friday at 6 p.m., CT against #4 Yale (NQS - 194.110), #5 Brown (NQS - 193.695) and host Cornell (#8, NQS - 192.110).
The top two teams from the afternoon session will take on the top two teams from the evening session Saturday in the team finals at 6 p.m., CT.
Sunday's event finals will include the top five individuals from each event in each session with a maximum of three gymnasts of any team on any one event. All teams will be represented.
The USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships are open to Division I, II and III schools whose programs offer fewer than seven-and-a-half full scholarships.

Lindenwood
Lindenwood is second in the USAG rankings for NQS with a mark of 194.700. The Lions finished second at the 2022 MIC Championship with 194.875. Riley Daniels was second overall on vault with 9.825. Hanna Moon and Madison Rush finished as the runners-up on beam with 9.775. Moon was third in the all-around with 38.900.
Gayla Griswold became the first athlete in Lindenwood history to qualify for the NCAA National Gymnastics Championships. Griswold went to NCAA Regionals for vault and placed sixth in the meet with a score of 9.875.
Hadley Roberts and Griswold were both named 2022 WGCA Division II All-Americans. Roberts received first-team honors on beam while Griswold was a first-teamer for vault and a second-teamer in the floor exercise.
Air Force
Air Force is third in the USAG rankings in 2022 with a NQS of 194.670.
The Falcons placed third at the 2022 MPSF Championships with a team score of 193.750.
West Chester
West Chester is right behind SEMO in the 2022 USAG rankings with a NQS of 193.245 for seventh.
West Chester scored a 195.25 marking the first time in school history that the Golden Rams eclipsed 195 for third at the inaugural Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Championships.
West Chester put up a season-high 48.975 on the uneven bars and a season-best 48.800 on the balance beam to push that overall score north of 195. Jessica Meakim tied for the conference title on the floor exercise, matching her career best with a 9.925. She also finished second in the all-around with a score of 39.025.
Meakim was named a WCGA Division II First Team All American for all-around and floor.

Texas Woman's, the 2022 MIC Champion, is ranked first overall in the USAG for NQS with 195.240 heading into the weekend.
The Pioneers posted a season-high team score of 195.750, with season-bests of 49.025 on vault and 48.925 on bars to secure the MIC Championship. Steelie King won the beam title with a 9.800. Alix Pierce's 9.875 tied for first on floor.
Isabel Goyco was named MIC Woman of the Year, while assistant coach Kristen Harold was recognized as the league's Assistant Coach of the Year.
Yale
Yale is fourth in the 2022 USAG rankings with a NQS of 194.110.
Yale posted its second-highest score of the year, 194.825, to place fourth at the GEC Championship. Lindsay Chia won the all-around with 39.275. Raegan Walker won the uneven bars championship with 9.950 while breaking Yale's record for the highest score in school history.
Chia was also named GEC Gymnast of the Year, interim head coach Andy Leis was named Head Coach of the Year, assistant coach Morgan Ross was named Assistant Coach of the Year and Sherry Wang was named co-Newcomer of the Year.
Brown
Brown ranks fifth in the USAG this season with a NQS of 193.695.
Brown took second place at the inaugural Gymnastics East Conference Championship with a school record score of 195.975. Mei Li Costa earned the GEC Performance of the Year. Angela Xing (vault, 9.825), Julia Bedell (vault, 9.825), Abby Contello(bars, 9.925) and Taylor Schulze (beam, 9.875) all finished as the runners-up at the Championship.
Costa competed at the 2022 NCAA Auburn Regional on bars, finishing with 9.025.
Cornell
Host Cornell is eighth in the USAG rankings with a NQS of 192.110. The Big Red ranks 62nd nationally and notched a season-best total of 194.175 set at the inaugural Gymnastics East Conference Championship meet.
Sydney Beers became the first GEC vault champion with career-best 9.850. She also took fourth in the all-around with a 38.650. She was also named the GEC co-Newcomer of the Year.
2021 USA Gymnastics National Champions
The Redhawks captured the 2021 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championship April 10 at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a team score of 195.025. Trailing Lindenwood 145.725-145.650 entering the final rotation, SEMO tied a program-best 49.375 on beam to secure the Championship.
SEMO's beam score of 49.375 matched the program-record set at the 2003 MIC Championships (March 29, 2003) where head coach
Ashley Lawson (then Godwin) led SEMO on the event with a 9.975. SEMO also recorded a 48.900 on vault at the 2021 USAG Championship, which tied for the seventh-highest score in SEMO program history.
Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso won the 2021 USA Gymnastics All-Around crown with 39.225.
Makenzie Marciniak was awarded the Mari Rae Sopper Spirit Award at the conclusion of the 2021 USA Gymnastics Championships. Head coach

Kaziska secured the 2021 USA Gymnastics Beam Championship with a 9.912 a day after registering her career best (9.925) to help the Redhawks win the 2021 USAG Team title. She also finished as the runner-up on floor with a 9.875. Kaziska previously earned second on beam and floor at the 2019 USAG Championships.
Jolie Miller tied for third overall on bars with a 9.812 at the 2021 USAG Individual Event Finals.
SEMO returns 12 student-athletes from that 2021 USA Gymnastics National Championship Team.
2021 was SEMO's first time in program history competing as a team at the USAG Women's Collegiate National Championship. The Redhawks previously had individual qualifiers attend the Championships in 2018 and 2019.
Redhawks at the 2022 NCAA Seattle Regional
Anna Kaziska and
Jolie Miller represented SEMO with three terrific performances on floor, bars, and beam March 31 at the 2022 NCAA Seattle Regional held at the Alaska Airlines Arena.
Kaziska, the 2022 Midwest Independent Conference Senior Athlete of the Year from Louisville, Kentucky, opened her third career NCAA Regional with a 9.850 on floor (28th overall). The mark was her 10th straight score of 9.800 or higher in 2022. It was also Kaziska's fourth 9.850 on floor this season and second-straight after tallying the same score at the 2022 MIC Championship March 18 in Denton, Texas.
In the third rotation, Miller registered a 9.800 on bars (41st overall). The 2022 MIC Bars Champion from Aurora, Colorado, posted her eighth bars routine of 9.800 or higher this season in her first career NCAA Regional.
Kaziska then hit a 9.850 on beam in the final rotation of the Regional (27th overall). The score was Kaziska's 10th beam mark of 9.775 or higher in 2022.

Lindsay Ockler registered a pair of First-Team All-MIC honors at the 2022 Championship. She took first on bars with a career-best 9.900 with Miller (First-Team All-MIC on bars). Ockler was also the runner-up on vault, notching a 9.825 for First-Team All-MIC.
The bars score was a personal best for Ockler and her third-straight mark of 9.850 plus. She has now earned two event titles in 2022 and ranks tied for fourth in SEMO program history for the bars score.
In 10 meets this season, Ockler has registered nine scores of 9.775 or higher on bars.
Ockler, a freshman from Huson, Montana, also hit her third-straight 9.825 of the season on vault to finish second overall at the Championship.
On vault, Ockler hasn't scored lower than a 9.725. In her last six competitions, the freshman from Huson, Montana, has scored a 9.800 or higher on vault including a 9.850 at the 2022 GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational on Feb. 18.
Ockler leads the Redhawks in 2022 with 22 scores of 9.7 or higher. She has competed on vault, bars and floor in her first career collegiate season.
Ockler's career bests this season include a 9.850 on vault, a 9.900 on bars and a 9.775 floor exercise.
Her first 9.850 on bars this season earned her the individual title against Lindenwood on Feb. 11. All but two of Ockler's bars sets in 2022 have been lower than a 9.800.
On floor, Ockler has achieved three scores of 9.700 or higher including a personal-best 9.775 at the Tennessee Collegiate Classic on Jan. 21.
Ockler has a bars NQS of 9.840 and a vault NQS score of 9.820 in 2022.

Jolie Miller tied teammate
Lindsay Ockler for the 2022 MIC Bars Championship as the duo registered consecutive 9.900s in the final two routines of the evening to capture the MIC title. The pair were both awarded First-Team All-MIC honors for their performances.
For Miller, it was her third bars title of the season.
She most recently registered a 9.800 on bars (41st overall) at the 2022 NCAA Seattle Regional on March 31.
Miller, a junior from Aurora, Colorado, leads the Redhawks in 2022 on bars with 10 scores of 9.700 or higher.

The bars mark put Miller first overall in SEMO program history edging the previous school record of 9.925 held by head coach Ashley (Godwin) Lawson (2004) and Malia Roberts (1999). Miller was awarded MIC Performance of the Week after the bars routine.
She has a bars NQS score of 9.865 in 2022.
Miller has also notched three scores of 9.700 or higher on beam in 2022. She registered a season-best 9.800 on beam at the Tennessee Collegiate Classic on Jan. 21 and has also added a pair of 9.725s this season.
2022 MIC Championship Recap
Jolie Miller and
Lindsay Ockler tied for the 2022 Midwest Independent Conference Bars Championship as SEMO finished fourth overall at the Championship with a team-score of 193.425 Friday evening at the Kitty Magee Arena.
It was the first MIC bars Championship for SEMO student-athletes since Alyssa Tucker took first in 2016.
SEMO earned 14 All-MIC honors at the conclusion of the Championship (the top-six scores including ties on each event).
Ockler registered a pair of First-Team All-MIC honors. She took first on bars with a career-best 9.900 with Miller (First-Team All-MIC on bars). Ockler was also the runner-up on vault, notching a 9.825 for First-Team All-MIC.
Anna Kaziska, the 2022 MIC Senior Athlete of the Year, took third on floor with a 9.850 for First-Team All-MIC laurels. She also grabbed Second-Team All-MIC honors for beam with a 9.700.
Lydia Webb (38.875, fourth) and
Molly Maxwell (37.750, sixth) both competed in the all-around competition, finishing fourth and sixth, respectively, for Second-Team All-MIC honors.
Webb paced the Redhawks with four All-MIC honors, appearing on the second team for bars (9.775), beam (9.675) and floor (9.750) in addition to the all-around competition.
Maxwell was also named to the All-MIC Second-Team for floor, tallying a 9.750.
Madison Greene earned Second-Team All-MIC honors on vault (9.725, PR) and on floor (9.750). Her vault mark was a career high.
Freshman
Nyah Reader was also tabbed to the All-MIC Second-Team for floor (9.750).
Anna Kaziska was named the MIC Senior Athlete of the Year while
Makenzie Marciniak was selected as the recipient of the Sylvia Keiter Memorial Award.
Kaziska is SEMO's first Senior Athlete of the Year since Ashley Thomas earned the laurel in 2017. Kaziska, who was named the MIC Newcomer of the Year in 2019 and Gymnast of the Year in 2020, is the third Southeast Missouri student-athlete to capture Senior Athlete of the Year.
Marciniak is the first Redhawk in school history to be awarded the Sylvia Keiter Memorial Award. The Award was established in 2019 in memory of the former Centenary gymnast, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver when she stopped to help a motorist in need. It recognizes the athlete who best exemplifies the characteristics of work ethic, dedication, encouragement, loyalty, selflessness, leading vocally and by example, and making a positive impact on everyone she meets.
SEMO in 2022
SEMO has posted a team-score of 193 or higher in seven competitions in 2022. Head coach
Ashley Lawson has coached SEMO to a NQS of 193.695 this season which ranks fourth in the MIC.
SEMO registered a season-high 194.200 against Illinois State on Feb. 25. The Redhawks registered season highs on beam and floor during the dual. SEMO hit a 49.150 on beam in the third rotation. The mark ranks fifth all-time in Southeast Missouri program history. The Redhawks then concluded the dual meet with a 49.175 on floor. The score tied for 11th all-time in program history.
The Redhawks also have season-highs of 48.400 on vault and a 48.675 on bars in 2022.

Anna Kaziska paces the Redhawks in 2022 with 10 individual event titles (five beam and five floor) and 23 scores of 9.700 or higher.
Kaziska, the 2022 MIC Senior Athlete of the Year, took third on floor at the 2022 MIC Championship (March 18) with a 9.850 for First-Team All-MIC laurels. She also grabbed Second-Team All-MIC honors for beam with a 9.700.

On beam, Kaziska has registered a 9.775 or higher 10 times this campaign. She has tallied four 9.875s this season and added a season-best 9.900 to win the event title on Senior Night against Illinois State on Feb. 25.
On floor, Kaziska has totaled 11 scores of 9.775 or higher in 2022. In the last 10 meets, Kaziska hasn't scored lower than a 9.800. She hit a 9.900 at Lindenwood on Jan. 29 before adding a 9.925 at home against Lindenwood on Feb. 11.
Kaziska then posted a career-best 9.950 to earn the title on Senior Night against Illinois State on Feb. 25. She ranks fifth all-time in SEMO program history for floor with Alexis Traylor (2004) and Kate Farrington (1995).
She matched a career high 9.950 on floor to capture her 10th event title in 2022 (47 career titles) in the regular-season finale at Illinois State on March 12. It was Kaziska's second 9.950 in just over two weeks.
Kaziska also notched a season-high vault of 9.750 at #13 Arkansas on Feb. 6.
She has a floor NQS score of 9.900 (48th) and a beam NQS score of 9.870 (68th).

Lydia Webb most recently paced the Redhawks with four All-MIC honors at the 2022 MIC Championship on March 18, appearing on the second team for bars (9.775), beam (9.675) and floor (9.750) in addition to the all-around competition.
She finished fourth in the all-around with a 38.875 at the 2022 MIC Championship.
Webb previously finished second overall in the all-around competition with a career-high 39.075 against Illinois State on Feb. 25 on Senior Night. The sophomore from Wylie, Texas, registered career-bests on beam (9.875) and floor (9.850) to go along with a 9.800 on bars and a 9.550 on vault.
Webb took first overall in the all-around competition at Centenary on March 4 with a total of 38.625 for her first career event title. She compiled 9.725 on both vault and floor with a 9.700 on bars.
Webb has scored a 9.700 or higher on bars in the last five meets. On floor, she hasn't scored lower than 9.725 in the last nine competitions.
Webb has competed in the all-around competition eight times in 2022 and has registered 21 scores of 9.700 or higher this season (nine on bars, nine on floor, two on beam, one on vault). She previously served as a floor specialist in 2021.
She has a NQS of 38.540 in the all-around, a NQS of 9.780 on floor and a NQS of 9.770 on bars.

Freshman
Madison Greene registered consecutive 9.850s on floor to wrap up SEMO's 2022 regular season at Texas Woman's (March 6) and at Illinois State (March 12).
Greene also made her vault debut at Illinois State in the regular-season finale on March 12, finishing with a 9.625.
She most recently tallied a career-best vault of 9.725 and a 9.750 on floor at the 2022 MIC Championship on March 18 for Second-Team All-MIC honors on both events.
Greene captured her first career event title with a personal-best floor score of 9.925 in the final rotation Feb. 11 in SEMO's home opener against Lindenwood. Greene tied for first on floor with teammate
Anna Kaziska. The floor score ranks tied for seventh all-time in SEMO history.
Greene has registered seven scores of 9.800 or higher on floor in 2022 including a 9.925 and a 9.900.

The Reader
Nyah Reader was selected to the All-MIC Second-Team for floor after she registered a career-best 9.750 at the 2022 MIC Championship on March 18. She also had a 9.575 on vault and a 9.650 on beam.
She registered a pair of career bests on vault (9.675) and beam Feb. 11 in SEMO's home opener against Lindenwood. Reader, a freshman from Rexford, New York, finished as the runner-up on beam with a career-best 9.850.
Reader has recorded a beam score of 9.700 or higher in six meets this season. She has achieved eight total scores of 9.700 or higher in 2022 (six beam, two floor).
Reader has a NQS of 9.755 on beam in 2022.
SEMO at ISU in Regular-Season Finale Recap
SEMO totaled a team-score of 192.750 for second in a dual meet with Illinois State March 12 at the Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois.
Anna Kaziska won the floor title with a career-best matching 9.950 in the third rotation. She also tied for second on beam with a 9.775.
Lydia Webb finished third in the all-around competition with 38.075 and
Molly Maxwell was fourth (37.825).
Lindsay Ockler paced SEMO on vault and bars, with a pair of runner-up finishes. Ockler earned second on vault with a 9.825 and was also second on bars with a 9.875.
Speller is Stellar
Anna Speller won the individual beam event title in her 2022 season debut Feb. 18 at the 2022 GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational quad meet held at The Family Arena.
Speller, a sophomore from St. Louis, Missouri, matched a personal-best 9.900 beam routine to capture her first career event title. Her 9.900 ranks tied for sixth all-time in SEMO program history for beam. For Speller, it marked her 2022 debut after missing the first five meets of the season.
She also chipped in a 9.850 for fifth against Illinois State on Feb. 25 on Senior Night at Houck Field House.

Redhawks Edge Centenary in Road Dual
The Redhawks secured four individual event titles as SEMO totaled 191.200 to take first overall in its road dual against Centenary March 4 at the Gold Dome. Centenary finished with 188.100.
Molly Maxwell captured the vault title with a personal-best matching 9.775. The title was the third in her career and first title outside of the all-around competition.
Lydia Webb took first overall in the all-around competition with a total of 38.625 for her first career event title. Webb notched a pair of 9.725s on vault and floor along with a 9.700 on bars.
Anna Kaziska won the floor (9.800) and beam (9.875) titles in the final two rotations.
Maxwell was the runner-up in the all-around competition, compiling a score of 37.925 behind a 9.775 on vault and a 9.700 on beam.
SEMO's best event of the dual was a 48.400 on vault along with a 48.025 on beam, 47.850 on floor and 46.925 on bars.

SEMO notched a team-score of 193.425 for fourth at Texas Woman's Quad Meet March 6 at the Kitty Magee Arena. No. 2-ranked Oklahoma took first with a 198.075 followed by meet host, Texas Woman's (195.725), and Air Force (195.700).
Molly Maxwell took fifth in the all-around competition with a total of 38.675. The junior from Milton, Wisconsin, registered a 9.725 on vault and a 9.750 on floor.
Lydia Webb, a sophomore from Wylie, Texas, finished the competition with 37.600 for sixth with a 9.750 on bars and a 9.800 on floor.
The Redhawks notched a 48.950 on floor in the second rotation. It's the second-highest floor score for SEMO in 2022 after posting a season-high 49.175 against Illinois State on Feb. 25.
The Redhawks also compiled 48.525 on bars, 48.300 on vault and 47.650 on beam.
Senior Night 2022 Recap
Southeast Missouri notched a season-best 194.200 Feb. 25 on Senior Night 2022 at Houck Field House against Illinois State (195.875).
Lydia Webb was second overall in the all-around competition with a career-best 39.075.
Molly Maxwell took fourth, tallying a career-high 38.775.
SEMO opened its Senior Night dual against Illinois State with a 48.200 on vault.
Lindsay Ockler led the Redhawks with a 9.800 for fourth overall at the dual.
The Redhawks then added a 47.675 on bars paced by
Jolie Miller's career-best and program-record mark (9.950). Webb added a 9.800 for fourth overall.
SEMO then hit a 49.150 on beam in the third rotation. The mark ranks fifth all-time in Southeast Missouri program history.
Anna Kaziska won the event with 9.900 followed by
Anna Speller (9.850).
Nyah Reader registered a 9.800 for sixth overall at the dual behind Speller (fifth). Maxwell and Miller each had 9.725 to round out the beam rotation.
SEMO concluded the dual meet with a 49.175 on floor. The score tied for 11th all-time in program history. All five of the Redhawk gymnasts hit their routines during the final rotation. Kaziska paced the Redhawks with a career-high 9.950 for the event title.
Madison Greene added a 9.900 in the fourth position. Maxwell and Webb both chipped in career-best 9.850s, in the second and third lineup spots, respectively.
Kaziska Closes Senior Night with Career-Best Floor
Senior
Anna Kaziska captured both the beam and floor titles in the final two rotations of SEMO's Senior Night dual meet against Illinois State on Feb. 25. Kaziska notched her second career 9.900 on beam (season-high) and a personal-best 9.950 on floor to secure the top spot on both events at the dual. The Louisville, Kentucky, native now ranks fifth all-time in SEMO program history for floor with Alexis Traylor (2004) and Kate Farrington (1995). Kaziska also posted a 9.650 on vault in the opening rotation.
Kaziska has earned three Midwest Independent Conference weekly honors (Performance of the Week twice, Gymnast once) and won 10 individual titles in 2022 (four beam and three floor).
Maxwell with Another All-Around Title
Molly Maxwell won her second career all-around title with 38.200 Feb. 11 in SEMO's home opener against Lindenwood. Maxwell's best event of the dual was a 9.700 on floor.
She previously took first in the all-around competition at Lindenwood's dual Jan. 29 in St. Charles, Missouri, for her first career event title with a total of 37.775. Her best event of the dual was a 9.700 on floor.
Maxwell won the individual vault title with a personal-best matching 9.775 at Centenary on March 4. The title was the third in her career and first title outside of the all-around competition. Maxwell was also the runner-up in the all-around competition, compiling a score of 37.925.
Maxwell, a junior from Milton, Wisconsin, has competed in the all-around competition in all 11 meets in 2022. She took fourth with a career-best 38.775 against Illinois State on Feb. 25 on Senior Night including a personal high 9.850 on floor.
Maxwell most recently was fourth (37.825) in the all-around competition in the regular-season finale at Illinois State on March 12. Maxwell tallied a 9.775 on floor in the third rotation.
Maxwell has registered 13 scores of 9.700 or higher in 2022. She has compiled a NQS score of 38.275 in the all-around and a NQS of 9.740 on floor.
In 2022, Maxwell has surpassed 38.000 in the all-around competition five times.
Lopez Makes Redhawks Debut
Janelle Lopez, a freshman from Cape Coral, Florida, hit a personal-high 9.750 on vault in her Redhawks debut Feb. 18 at the 2022 GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational quad meet held at The Family Arena.
Lopez previously competed as an exhibitionist on bars at Kent State's tri meet Jan. 16.
She has competed in five meets in 2022 and had consecutive 9.650s on vault at Centenary (March 4) and at Texas Woman's Quad (March 6).
Lopez added a personal-best 9.450 on bars at Centenary on March 4.
Lopez is from the same hometown (Cape Coral, Florida) as head coach
Ashley Lawson.
Kaziska Named 2022 AAI Award Nominees
Senior
Anna Kaziska was named a 2022 AAI Award Nominee, Feb. 21. Kaziska, a Louisville, Kentucky, native, is one of 35 nominees for the award.
Kaziska has competed in 44 career meets over all four events. The Louisville, Kentucky, native has captured 47 career event titles and 103 scores of 9.700 or higher. Kaziska won the 2021 USA Gymnastics National Beam Championship and has represented the Redhawks in three NCAA Regionals. Her career highs are 9.8 or higher on each event. Kaziska ranks second in the SEMO Gymnastics record books with a career-best beam score of 9.925. She also is fifth all-time on floor exercise with a pair of personal-high 9.950s.
Kaziska was named the MIC Gymnast of the Year in 2020 and the MIC Newcomer of the Year in 2019. She was most recently named the 2022 MIC Senior Athlete of the Year. She is a nine-time USA Gymnastics All-American and nine-time MIC All-Conference gymnast.
AAI has been presenting the AAI Award to the most outstanding senior female gymnast in the country for over the last 30+ years. Some people have stated it is the Heisman Trophy for Women's gymnastics.
2022 GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational Recap
Anna Speller won the individual beam event title as SEMO notched a 193.075 for fourth Feb. 18 at the 2022 GymQuarters Mardi Gras Invitational quad meet held at The Family Arena.
SEMO opened the competition with a 48.525 on floor.
Anna Kaziska led the way with a 9.850 for fifth at the quad while
Lydia Webb was second on the Redhawks with a 9.775.
The Redhawks then registered a 48.375 on vault for the second-straight week.
Lindsay Ockler led SEMO with a career-best 9.850 for sixth overall.
Janelle Lopez added a personal-high 9.750 in her Redhawks debut.
SEMO hit a 47.575 on bars in the third rotation of the evening.
Jolie Miller paced the Redhawks with a 9.825 achieved in the anchor position. She finished fifth overall at the quad meet. Ockler added a 9.800 in the fifth lineup slot.
The Redhawks wrapped up the quad meet with a 48.600 on beam. Speller paced the Redhawks with a personal-best matching 9.900 for first overall. Kaziska was third overall at the quad with a 9.850, notched in the anchor slot.
Molly Maxwell totaled 36.900 for third in the all-around competition with a 9.700 on vault and a 9.675 on floor.
Home Opener Recap
Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics captured five individual event titles as the Redhawks totaled 194.100 Feb. 11 in their home opener at Houck Field House. Lindenwood took the dual with a total score of 195.150.
Lindsay Ockler won the bars while
Anna Kaziska secured the beam title. Kaziska also tied for first overall on floor with her former club teammate,
Madison Greene.
Molly Maxwell earned the all-around crown with 38.200 and
Lydia Webb finished as the runner-up with 37.900. For Ockler and Greene, it marked the first career titles for the freshmen.

#13 Arkansas Recap
SEMO totaled a 194.150 in a dual meet against #13-ranked Arkansas Feb. 6 at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Redhawks registered a 48.250 on vault in the second rotation and a 48.950 on beam in the final event of the afternoon. The beam mark ranks 10th all-time in SEMO program history.
At Lindenwood Dual Recap
SEMO totaled a team score of 191.150 in a dual with Lindenwood Jan. 29 at the Robert F. Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Missouri.
SEMO registered a floor score of 48.875. The Redhawks also had a 47.225 on vault, 47.675 on bars and a 47.375 on beam.
Jordan Jones compiled a 9.725 on beam and 9.700 on floor. For Jones the 9.725 was her second on beam in 2022.
Tennessee Collegiate Classic Recap
Southeast Missouri tallied a team score of 193.375 for third overall at the 2022 Tennessee Collegiate Classic Jan. 21 at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center.
Jolie Miller won the bars title with her second career 9.875.
Molly Maxwell was third in the all-around competition with a 38.450.
SEMO opened the tri with a 47.700, followed by a 48.675 on bars, 48.750 on beam and 48.250 on floor.

2022 Season Opener Recap
SEMO opened its 2022 season with a team score of 191.500 Jan. 16 at Kent State's tri meet held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. Host Kent State won the tri with a team score of 195.300. Northern Illinois was second with 194.150 and SEMO was third at the tri with a mark of 191.500.
The Redhawks best event at the tri was 48.050 on bars. SEMO also had a 47.850 on floor, a 47.825 on beam and 47.775 on vault.

Welcome Back, RED!!!
Ashley Albrecht returned to the Redhawks vault and bars lineups at Kent State's tri meet Jan. 16 after suffering an injury during the 2021 season. She posted a 9.675 on bars and a 9.100 on vault in her first meet back from injury since Feb. 22, 2021, against Lindenwood.
Albrecht hit her second 9.675 bars set in the regular-season finale at Illinois State on March 12.

Anna Kaziska, who represented SEMO at the 2021 NCAA Regionals, returns for her senior season. She captured 11 event titles (37 in her career entering 2022) including the 2021 USAG Beam title this past season.

2021 Signees
SEMO head coach
Ashley Lawson announced Nov. 10 the team had inked two student-athletes during the early signing period. Taylor Ingle and Sydney Crouch will join the team next fall for the 2023 season.
Ingle, a Coppell, Texas native, will graduate from Coppell High School in 2022. She was a state, regional and National qualifier in her junior year. Ingle most recently won the 2021 state championship with Texas Dream Gymnastics.
Crouch, who comes to Cape Girardeau by way of Coral Springs, Florida, will graduate from Coral Springs Charter School in 2022. She was a State, Regional and National Qualifier in 2021 during her junior year.
2021 in Review
SEMO registered a team score of 194.825 to take third at the 2021 Midwest Independent Conference Championships March 19 at Redbird Arena on the campus of Illinois State. Eight Redhawks earned All-MIC honors for their performances at the Championships and head coach
Ashley Lawson was named the 2021 MIC Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the meet. For Lawson, it was her second-straight season earning the honor.
SEMO averaged a team score of 193.498 in 2021 including six-straight marks of 194 or higher to conclude the season. The Redhawks season-high of 195.150 achieved against Illinois State and Lindenwood on Senior Day (March 12) ranks 10th all-time in SEMO program history. The Redhawks averaged a 48.000 plus on every event this season including a 48.555 on beam, 48.527 on floor, 48.236 on vault and 48.180 on bars. The SEMO season-best floor score of 49.225 posted on March 12 ranks ninth in the school's record books.
Redhawks Crushing it in the Classroom
Southeast Missouri ranked 13th among the nation's top Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) academic teams for the 2020-21 season. SEMO posted a 3.78 GPA with 18 of its student-athletes named Academic All-Americans. Over 94 percent of the 2021 Redhawks roster registered a 3.5 or higher GPA.
