DENTON, Texas – Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics notched a team-score of 193.425 for fourth at Texas Woman's Quad Meet Sunday afternoon at the Kitty Magee Arena.
No. 2-ranked Oklahoma took first with a 198.075 followed by meet host, Texas Woman's (195.725), and Air Force (195.700).
Molly Maxwell took fifth in the all-around competition with a total of 38.675. The junior from Milton, Wisconsin, registered a 9.725 on vault and a 9.750 on floor.
Lydia Webb, a sophomore from Wylie, Texas, finished the competition with 37.600 for sixth with a 9.750 on bars and a 9.800 on floor.
SEMO opened TWU's quad meet with a 47.650 on beam.
Anna Kaziska paced the Redhawks with a 9.775 in the anchor position. Freshman
Nyah Reader added a 9.700 for second on SEMO.
Reader has now registered six-straight beam routines of 9.700 or higher.
Maxwell chipped in a 9.675 and
Jolie Miller finished with 9.650.
The Redhawks then added a 48.950 on floor in the second rotation Sunday. It's the second-highest floor score for SEMO in 2022 after posting a season-high 49.175 against Illinois State on Feb. 25.
Madison Greene and Kaziska led the Redhawks with consecutive 9.850s registered in the final two SEMO lineup positions.
The mark was Greene's second 9.850 in 2022 and fifth 9.800 or higher score.
Lydia Webb posted a 9.800 in the third slot. Maxwell and Reader rounded out the SEMO scorers with 9.750 and 9.700, respectively.
In the third rotation of the afternoon, the Redhawks compiled a 48.300 on vault.
Lindsay Ockler led SEMO with a 9.825 for fifth at the quad. The mark for Ockler, a freshman from Huson, Montana, was her fourth-straight 9.800 plus on the event.
Maxwell added a 9.725 in the fourth lineup slot.
Janelle Lopez (9.650), Miller (9.575) and Reader (9.525) rounded out the SEMO scorers on vault.
For Lopez, a freshman from Cape Coral, Florida, the score was her second-straight 9.650 after earning the mark Friday at Centenary.
SEMO concluded the quad meet with a 48.525 on bars. Ockler and Miller led SEMO with consecutive 9.850s in the fifth and sixth lineup slots. The duo finished tied for fifth Sunday.
Miller has compiled seven scores of 9.700 or higher on the event in 2022.
In eight meets this season, Ockler has registered seven scores of 9.775 or higher on bars after she matched her career best Sunday in Texas.
Webb posted a 9.750 and
Ashley Albrecht had a 9.550 on the event. Maxwell completed the scorers with a 9.525.
SEMO next concludes its 2022 regular season with a road dual at Illinois State on Saturday, March 12. First rotation is set for 5 p.m., CT at Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois.
