FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics totaled a season-best team score of 194.150 in a dual meet against #13-ranked Arkansas Sunday at Barnhill Arena.
The Redhawks registered season-highs of 48.250 on vault in the second rotation and a 48.950 on beam in the final event of the afternoon. The beam mark ranks 10th all-time in SEMO program history.
Lydia Webb took third in the all-around competition with a career-best total of 38.975. The sophomore from Wylie, Texas, notched a trio of personal bests on bars, beam and floor with a 9.825 on all three events. She also had a personal-high 9.500 on vault in her second career collegiate meet competing as an all-arounder.
Molly Maxwell totaled 38.125 for fourth in in the all-around with her best event Sunday being vault (9.675).
Jolie Miller took third overall on bars with a career-best matching 9.875. She has registered the score three times on bars in her career as a Redhawk.
Anna Kaziska was also third on beam with a 9.875.
SEMO opened the dual with a 48.375 on bars. Miller tied a personal-best 9.875 for third overall at the meet to pace the Redhawks. Webb added a personal-high 9.825.
Lindsay Ockler posted a 9.775 in the fourth lineup slot.
Ashley Albrecht (9.475) and Maxwell (9.425) rounded out the Redhawk scorers on the event.
The Redhawks then totaled a season-high 48.250 on vault in the second rotation. Kaziska and Ockler led the way with 9.750s in the final two lineup spots.
Maxwell finished with a 9.675 followed by Miller (9.550),
Nyah Reader (9.525) and
Lydia Webb (9.500).
SEMO then compiled a 48.575 on floor.
Kaziska paced SEMO with a 9.875 to tie for fifth at the dual. Webb added a career-best 9.825. Jones hit a 9.750 routine in the fifth slot and Ockler had a 9.725. Maxwell chipped in a 9.400 to round out the SEMO scorers on floor.
The Redhawks closed out the dual with a 48.950 on beam that ranks 10th all-time in SEMO program history. Kaziska led the Redhawks with a 9.875 for third overall on the event Sunday.
Webb hit a career-best routine of 9.825 in the middle lineup slot.
Jones (9.775), Reader (9.750) and Miller (9.725) all had 9.700 plus scores on beam in the final rotation to conclude the Redhawk scorers. For Reader, a freshman from Rexford, New York, the mark was a career best and her first career score of 9.700 plus at SEMO.
The Razorbacks won the dual meet with a 197.050. Kennedy Hambrick won the vault (9.925), beam (9.975) and floor (9.950) individual titles. She was second in the all-around with 39.375 behind teammate Leah Smith (39.425). Sarah Shaffer captured the bar title with a score of 9.925.
SEMO next returns home to host Lindenwood in the Redhawks home opener Friday, Feb. 11 at Houck Field House. The opening rotation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
