The reigning Ohio Valley Conference Champion Southeast Missouri baseball team plays its home opener this weekend, and the Redhawks are excited to announce a number of new fan-friendly features at Capaha Field this spring.
BYO Cooler
Bring Your Own Cooler is BACK at SEMO Baseball in 2022. Fans are welcome to bring their own cooler full of their favorite beverages to the ballpark for a nominal fee at the gate each game: just $5 for coolers 40 quarts and smaller, and $20 for coolers larger than 40 quarts. Coolers may contain beverages only. Outside food is not permitted. Beer will not be sold at SEMO Baseball games in 2022.
Rufus Red Hots
SEMO Athletics is happy to partner with Rufus Red Hots as the primary concessionaire for the 2022 Baseball season and will be open at all home games. Rufus Red Hots will offer a variety of ballpark fare, including its signature Chicago-style hot dogs, polishes and Pepsi products.
Rotating vendors
In addition to Rufus Red Hots at every game, additional rotating food vendors will be at Capaha on select gamedays throughout the spring.
Home Run Deck
Once again in 2022, the Home Run Deck is available for rent for private parties and group sizes between 50-150. All Home Run Deck party packages include a concessions voucher redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, and soda/water. Special package options are also available for SEMO student organizations. As always, the Home Run Deck will be open to all fans any game it has not been reserved for a private party.
Dugout Club
New in 2022, smaller groups between 20-40 can reserve the Dugout Club, located at field level next to the first base dugout. All Dugout Club party packages include a concessions voucher redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, and soda/water.
NEW Chairback seating
The Capaha Field grandstand has received a facelift with new
red chairback seating throughout, after installing Houck Stadium chairbacks. All ticketing at SEMO Baseball games is general admission and seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Fill The Hill Fridays
A SEMO Baseball tradition returns this season. The Redhawks have partnered with Kohlfeld Distributing to bring tailgate days back to Capaha during OVC play. Kohlfeld Distributing will provide complimentary adult beverages to fans who provide proof of legal drinking age.

Kids Run the Bases Saturdays
Kids of all ages are invited to the field and take a lap around the bases following the game on Saturdays, weather permitting.
Innovative Orthodontics Kids Zone
On select gamedays, kids can enjoy inflatables and activities at the Kids Zone located in the first base plaza, weather permitting.

Online & Mobile Ticketing
For the best prices on admission, fans can buy SEMO Baseball tickets online at
SEMORedhawks.com/tickets. Fans will save $1.50 per admission when they purchase tickets online. Single-game tickets that are purchased online will be delivered digitally to your mobile device, and digital tickets on your mobile device also update automatically in case of schedule changes.
Weather Policy
- Cold Weather: If the first pitch temperature is forecasted to be 45 degrees or below by the KFVS StormTeam Weather app three hours before scheduled first pitch, admission will be FREE for all fans. Cooler fees still apply.
- Rainouts: In the event that a scheduled game is not played, a game ticket will serve as a rain check that can be redeemed at any future home game during the same season.
