STILLWATER, Okla. – Romana Tarajova competed in the 2022 ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Division I Women's Central Regional Championship Round of 32s Saturday at the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center.
 
After registering a pair of wins Friday to advance to the Round of 32s, Tarajova fell to Oklahoma State's Alana Wolfberg Saturday morning, 6-3, 7-5.
 
SEMO also picked up three consolations singles wins Saturday.
 
Daniela Hlacikova overcame Tulsa's Maria Berlanga, 3-6, 6-3, 10-6, before Cosima Trinity Calinescu fought past Kristina Kudryavtseva of Wichita State, 3-7, 7-6 (7-4), 10-6.
 
Ksenia Shikanova also edged Clara Whitaker (Wichita State), 6-2, 6-4.
 
Southeast Missouri women's tennis will next wrap up its fall tournament season Nov. 5-6 at the Illinois State Tournament in Normal, Illinois.
