ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Anna Kaziska won the beam and floor titles as Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics totaled a team score of 191.150 in a dual with Lindenwood Saturday at the Robert F. Hyland Arena.
Kaziska, a senior from Louisville, Kentucky, took first in the final two events Saturday. She won the floor with a season-high 9.900 and captured the beam title with a 9.7750.
Molly Maxwell won the all-around competition for her first career title with 37.775.
SEMO registered a 47.675 on bars to open the dual.
Lindsay Ockler paced the Redhawks with a 9.800, good for second at the meet.
For Ockler, it was her third-straight bars mark of 9.800 or higher in as many meets and second career 9.800.
Lydia Webb added a 9.725. Maxwell had a 9.500 and
Ashley Albrecht posted a 9.475.
Lindenwood also had a 47.675 in the opening rotation, competing on vault.
The Redhawks then totaled a 47.225 on vault. Ockler led the Redhawks once again, this time with a 9.725 for second overall at the dual. Maxwell added a 9.575 for fifth overall Saturday.
Jolie Miller and
Nyah Reader each chipped in 9.475s.
In the third rotation, SEMO posted a 48.875 on floor led by Kaziska's meet-best 9.900.
Madison Greene, Kaziska's club teammate at Champion Gymnastics in Kentucky, hit a routine of 9.825 for third at the dual. The mark was Greene's second-straight 9.800 plus floor score.
Webb tallied a season-best 9.750 in the second lineup slot.
Jordan Jones, Ockler and Maxwell each notched 9.700s in the fifth, first and fourth lineup spots, respectively, to conclude the SEMO scorers.
The Redhawks then wrapped the dual with a 47.375 on beam. Kaziska paved the way on the event with a 9.775.
Jones finished fifth overall at the dual with 9.725. Miller added a 9.575 followed by Webb (9.250).
Host Lindenwood secured the dual win with a team score of 194.250.
SEMO continues its road stretch, next heading to Northern Illinois for a quad meet Friday, Feb. 4. The Redhawks will face host, NIU, Lindenwood and Wisconsin-Whitewater at the quad in DeKalb, Illinois.
