BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Anna Kaziska captured second on both the beam and floor exercise Sunday at the 2019 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships individual event finals held at the Wheeler Recreation Center on the campus of Bridgeport.
Kaziska was the runner-up on beam when she matched her personal-best score of 9.875 Sunday. Kaitlin Green of Cornell was crowned the beam National Champion with a 9.900.
Kaziska, the 2019 Midwest Independent Conference Newcomer of the Year and NCAA Regional Qualifier, also tied for a share of second place on floor, registering a 9.875 with Illinois-Chicago's Alisa Sheremeta and Darian Burns of Seattle Pacific. Tyler Davis of Air Force was the floor National Champion with a 9.950.
Mackenzie Slee tallied a 9.650 on vault at the individual event finals to finish eighth in the competition. UIC's Kayla Baddeley was the vault National Champion with a mark of 9.850.

Gabrielle Adams each earned All-American honors for their performances at the Championships on Friday. They are the second Redhawks trio to earn the accolades after

McKinzie Jones and
McKenna Stanley recorded the achievement at the 2018 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships.
Kaziska was named a First Team All-American for all-around, beam and floor and garnered Second Team All-American laurels on bars. She finished fifth overall in the all-around competition (Session I & II) on Friday after taking second in the opening session.
Slee was tabbed a First Team All-American on vault and Adams was awarded Second Team All-American on vault.
Brown's Mei Li Costa was the bars National Champion with 9.850 and Burns won the all-around title on Friday with a 39.225 in the second session.
