Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series with Morehead State, 23-20. The most recent matchup was at Johnson Arena when the Redhawks fell, 60-58, to the Eagles on Feb. 8, 2018. SEMO has lost 13 of its last 14 matchups against MSU, with the lone win coming in Morehead, Kentucky on Jan. 7, 2016.

The Redhawks are currently 7-8 this season and have won three of their last five games. Southeast Missouri finished the non-conference schedule with a 5-6 mark. The Redhawks opened OVC play with a 62-52 win at SIUE and a 80-73 loss against UT Martin. SEMO earned its first win in an OVC opener since 2015-16. Rekha Patterson secured a win at the Vadalabene Center for the first time as the Redhawks head coach. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 16.9 points per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 4.1 assists and 3.1 steals per contest. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in 14 of 15 games this season.

Scouting the Eagles
The Eagles are 11-6 overall and 2-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play. Morehead State recorded losses to No. 25 Kentucky (87-57, Nov. 28) and No. 3 Baylor (96-58, Dec. 12). In conference play, MSU fell to Austin Peay (81-80, Jan. 5) and Belmont (77-50, Jan. 10). The Eagles average 82.4 points, 39 rebounds and 14.9 turnovers per game. Guard Aliyah Jeune averages 19.2 points and three assists per game this season. Forward Tierra McGowan has averaged 7.2 rebounds this season and has 13 blocks thus far.
