Offensively, the Redhawks finished with five hits. Ezell,
Wade Stauss and
Connor Basler had one hit apiece behind Gagan.
The Panthers collected eight hits, including two each from Jimmy Huber, Albert and Frankie Perrone.
SEMO's 1998 Hall of Fame Baseball Team was recognized prior to first pitch of Saturday's matchup. That team beat EIU to win the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title and advance to the NCAA Midwest Regional.
