The Racers are 5-8 on the year. They went 1-1 in the opening week of conference play, defeating Eastern Illinois 72-61 and falling to SIUE 75-70. They are led by Ke'Shunan James, who is averaging 20.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Bria Bethea posts 15.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as well.

Thompson Named OVC Freshman of the Week
Guard
Tesia Thompson was dubbed the OVC Freshman of the Week after the opening week of conference play. In two games, Thompson averaged 16.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game over the week, including a career high 23 points against Tennessee State.

Redhawks Grab First OVC Win Over TSU
Southeast Missouri held off a late comeback by Tennessee State to grab it's first OVC win of the season.
Tesia Thompson had a career high 23 points including 14 points in the fourth quarter.Â
