PHILADELPHIA – Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics (3-6, 1-1 MIC) capped off their weekend road trip to "The City of Brotherly Love" with a quad meet against Temple, Cornell and Ithaca Sunday afternoon at McGonigle Hall.

The Redhawks finished third at the meet with a total team-score of 189.325. The host Owls placed first with a 193.175 and Cornell was second with 191.600. Ithaca rounded out the meet in fourth with 188.075.

Alexis Brawner won the vault title with a score of a 9.800 and the floor event title with a 9.875. Brawner finished the weekend with five event titles.

The Redhawks opened the quad with a 45.775 on beam. Freshman
Michael Sanders led SEMO with a 9.600 routine and
McKinzie Jones tallied a score of 9.550.
Megan Dennis added a 9.000 for third on the team.

In the second rotation on floor, Southeast added their second best team-score of the season with a 48.725. Brawner notched the highest score for the Redhawks with a 9.875 and took the overall title. Jones recorded a 9.850 to tie her season-best score.
Lindsey Bates added a 9.700 for third on Southeast and
Mackenzie Slee had a score of 9.675.

On the vault in the third rotation, the Redhawks tallied a team score of 47.400. Brawner took the overall vault title with a 9.800 and led Southeast on the apparatus.
Gabrielle Adams was second on SEMO with a score of 9.675 and
Samantha Gallet was third on the team with a 9.525.
McKenna Stanley added a score of 9.425 for fourth.

Southeast concluded the quad meet with a team score of 47.425 on bars. Brawner recorded a 9.750 in the anchor position to lead the Redhawks.
Alana Fischer and
Lindsey Bates tied for second on the team with scores of 9.675. Gallet was fourth on the team with a 9.325.

The Redhawks return home to Houck Field House in Cape Girardeau, Missouri for a meeting with Western Michigan on Friday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m., CT.Â
