CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo -- Southeast Missouri's gymnastics squad recorded a dual meet win over Centenary Friday evening. The Redhawks outscored the Ladies 190.750-187.950.
Alexis Brawner swept the competition, collecting all five event titles after tying a career-best 39.125 in the all-around.
SEMO opened the night on vault scoring a 47.875. Brawner led the squad with a stellar 9.800, securing the event title.
Mackenzie Slee came in second scoring a season-best 9.625.
McKenna Stanley finished third on the team with a 9.550.
Allyson Bell (9.525) and
Kendra Benak (9.375) closed out the scoring for the Redhawks.

In rotation two, Southeast competed on bars and scored a 47.100. Brawner collected her second event title of the night with a score of 9.700.
McKinzie Jones finished second with a solid 9.650.
Courteney Taylor (9.425) and Bell (9.400) placed third and fourth, respectively. Benak rounded out the scoring with a 8.925.

During the third rotation, the Redhawks were on beam and posted a 47.575. Four of the five scorers collected a 9.525 or better. Brawner kept up her impressive night with a team-leading 9.725, winning a share of the title.  Jones came in second with a score of 9.650. Stanley placed third with an even 9.600. Bell tallied a 9.525, placing fourth on the team. Slee ended the scoring with a 9.075.

SEMO ended the evening on floor scoring a 48.200. Brawner ended her stellar evening scoring a career-best 9.900 to complete the sweep. Jones placed second scoring a season-high 9.825. Slee collected a 9.550 to finish third. Bell (9.525) and Taylor (9.400) completed the scoring for Southeast.

The Redhawks will be back in action next Friday in Lincoln, Nebraska. They will compete in the Masters Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska.
