CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Southeast Missouri (3-2) will travel to Springfield, Missouri for a pair of women's tennis matches this weekend.
SEMO faces Missouri State (3-3) Friday and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-4) Saturday. Match times are 7 p.m., CT, Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
"We are looking forward to competing against Missouri State," said head coach
Mary Beth Gunn. "We tend to have very competitive matchups with them. The team is feeling fresh and excited for another weekend of match play after being off last week."
SEMO is coming off of back-to-back wins over Western Illinois and Quincy.
Oleksandra Doroshenko currently leads the team in total (7) and doubles (3) victories. She is tied with fellow freshman
Kseniya Zonova with four singles wins.
MSU has three victories, including two over Ohio Valley Conference foe Tennessee State. Alexia Meyer leads the Bears with four wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions.
UAPB is winless this year.
