MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Southeast Missouri gymnastics finished second in the Harley Davidson Invite after scoring a 187.575. Host Wisconsin-Whitewater took the crown with a 188.900. Winona State (186.850) and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (185.075) finished third and fourth, respectively.
The Redhawks began the evening on bars scoring a 46.600.
Alexis Brawner paced the squad with a 9.600.
McKenna Stanley followed in second with a 9.575. Â
Courteney Taylor came in third on the team with a score of 9.500.
Allyson Bell (9.100) and
Ashley Thomas (8.825) rounded out the scoring for the squad.

SEMO competed on beam in the second rotation and tallied a 45.750. Thomas led the way with a 9.575. Brawner finished second on the squad with a score of 9.500. Stanley (8.950),
McKinzie Jones (8.900) and Taylor (8.825) closed out the scoring for the Redhawks.

Southeast went on floor in the third rotation scoring a season-high 48.275. Three Redhawks scored a 9.725 or better during the event. Thomas and Brawner tied for second overall with a 9.750. Taylor had her strongest performance of the season finishing third with a 9.725. Jones scored a 9.600 to finish fourth on the team. Bell ended the scoring with a 9.450.

SEMO closed out the night on vault scoring a 46.950. Brawner scored a team-best 9.600 to pace Southeast. Thomas finished close behind with a 9.525. Bell took third on the team with a 9.325. Stanley and
Mackenzie Slee rounded out the scoring with identical scores of 9.250.

The Redhawks will close out the weekend Sunday with a dual meet against Illinois State at 2 p.m., CT.
