Finish Strong
A win against Saint Louis Friday will give Southeast its first winning record in non-conference play since 2013-14. That year, the Redhawks went 10-6. Southeast is 6-6 against non-league foes this season.
Two-Game Skid
The Redhawks look to snap a two-game losing streak Friday. Southeast has lost back-to-back games three times this year. The Redhawks are 3-2 this month.
Redhawk Rewind
Southeast fell victim to a big first-half run and never recovered in a 75-67 loss to Bradley on Dec. 20. Tied, 22-22, the Braves went on a 17-4 run to take a 13-point lead and never turned back. Ledarrius Brewer knocked down a 3-pointer to make it a 50-47 game at the 10:28 mark, but that was as close as the Redhawks would get. Southeast shot just 9-of-25 from 3-point range and shot under 40 percent (38.2) from the field for the contest.
Quick Turnaround
The Redhawks close out their 13-game non-conference slate with their second game in three days. Southeast fell to Bradley, 75-67, Wednesday. The Redhawks open Ohio Valley Conference play at home against Belmont following the Christmas holiday on Dec. 28.

Denzel Mahoney surpassed 700 points in his career when he scored 23 to lead Southeast in a 89-71 loss at Kansas State (Dec. 16). Mahoney scored 20 of his points in the first half and shot 6-of-9 from the field and a perfect 9-of-9 at the free throw line for the game.
