CONWAY, Ark. – Southeast Missouri (1-1) fell to Central Arkansas by a score of 6-1 Saturday.
 
SEMO dropped the doubles point in the third match after splitting the first two matchups. 
Kseniya Zonova and 
Anais Emelie picked up the victory at the No. 2 position winning, 6-3, over UCA's Hee-Jin Oh and Marli Van Heerden. 
Isabella Krupa and 
Oleksandra Doroshenko hung tough at the top of the lineup, but came up short, 6-4, versus Pompawee Pramethong and Amiru Shimoguchi. 
Annisa Warasanti and 
Mila Majtan dropped the third match, giving the Sugar Bears the early advantage.
 
In singles play, Doroshenko (No. 2) notched the lone victory for the Redhawks beating Shimoguchi in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. Emelie dropped a three-set thriller at the No. 6 position, 6-4, 2-6, 7-10. The rest of the lineup lost in straight sets.
 
Doroshenko closed out a strong weekend going 2-0 in singles action and added a doubles victory over Arkansas State.
 
SEMO travels to Saint Louis on Feb. 1.
