Chris Moore and senior forward
Joel Angus III will spend the next two weeks in Europe.
Moore and Angus were invited to join the Global Sports Academy, a not-for-profit organization participating in domestic and international competition since 1991. GSA's mission is to arrange athletic competition between equally matched teams at all levels and to "Promote International Goodwill" and a better understanding between nations through sports.
Angus will play on Moore's team, which will train, compete and tour in Holland, Germany and Belgium. The team is scheduled to play five games in nine days, as Moore and Angus will be abroad from Aug. 8-19.
Moore's team consists of 10 players, including Angus, Aaron Jordan (Illinois), Charles Sanders (Washington-St. Louis), Quentin Peterson (Virginia Military Institute), Turner Botz (Wisconsin-Green Bay), Brandon Watkins (West Virginia), Christian Thieneman (Marshall), Andrew Drone (Rice), Jarrel Marshall (Portland) and Paul Macura (Xavier).
