National Ranks
At the SIU Edwardsville Gateway Classic, Kevin Farley's toss in shot put of 61'4" (18.69m) improved his season-high and OVC-leading mark to rank 25th in the NCAA DI standings. He also tops the conference in discus, ranking 35th nationally, and hammer throw, 59th nationally.
At the Hilltopper Relays, Chris Martin's triple jump distance of 51'5" is the second best in the conference and ranks 27th in the nation.
Top Conference Marks
Dylan Rush's conference leading mark in pole vault is a height of 5.02m (16'5"). In third, Duncan Ross (4.45m; 14'7.25") follows Rush in the standings while Tyler Jourdan (4.30m; 14'1.25") is fifth.
Sierra Maddox has the second best height for women's pole vault in the OVC at 3.84m (12' 7.25").
Jarred Pasley's 400m time of 47.52 ranks him second in the conference this season. Brandon Chunn (48.32), Jordan Barber (48.51) and Brannon Wright (48.77) round out the top-five ranking third, fourth and fifth, respectively. All four teamed up to also boast the top 4x400m relay in conference.
In the women's 400m, Cheyanne Tunti has the fourth best time at 54.99.
Haile Wilson (10.54) is second in the 100m dash while Mariam Ajiroba (11.83) ranks third in the conference in the women's end of the sprint.
Marc Maton owns the fourth best conference time in the men's 1500m, finishing the race in 3:48.78.
Angela Sumner moved into fifth in the OVC ranks for the 5000m, clocking a time of 17.23.86.
Zach Gordon leapt 7.23m (23'8.75") to move into third in OVC long jump standings. Jacob Kent also ranks fifth with a distance of 7.14m (23' 5.25").
Aaliah Herron currently holds the third best shot put throw with a distance of 14.26m (46' 9.5").
While Farley holds the top OVC mark in three categories, other Redhawks also reached the top-5 in those events. Jason Walker holds the second best discus toss at 51.03m (167' 5") while Stephen Zagurski is fifth in the hammer throw with a distance of 54.62m (179' 2").
Taylor Coffelt ranks second in women's javelin at 42.52m (139' 6"). Andrew Ryan ranks third on the men's side 50.98m (167' 3").
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks will finish the outdoor regular season Saturday, May 5, in Bloomington, Indiana at the Billy Hayes Outdoor Invitational. The OVC Outdoor Championships will be held the following weekend, May 13 and 14, at Tennessee State.
