2015 Outdoor: Did not compete… Named a member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2015 Indoor: Competed in eight meets…Named Southeast Scholar-Athlete…Named OVC Co-Male Field Athlete of the Year…Twice named Field Athlete of the Week (1/14, 1/21)…Broke school weight throw record with a new mark of 21.19m (69’6.25”) at the Illini Classic…Finished first in both weight throw (67’4.75”) and shot put (57’6.5”) at the OVC Championships…Took first in both shot put (54’9.5”) and weight throw (67’6”) vs. SIUE…Accumulated 10 first place finishes…Totaled 13 top five finishes.
2014 Outdoor: Competed in nine meets in the outdoor season... Broke the school’s hammer throw record at the OVC Championships with a heave of 63.03m (206’9”), also earning him the gold in the event... Was the runner-up in the shot put at the OVC Championships with a toss of 16.41m... Had a season-best shot of 17.49 at the Tennessee Relays... Won the hammer throw at the Joey Haines Invitational with a mark of 53.72m... Southeast Scholar-Athlete... Member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2014 Indoor: Competed in seven meets during the indoor season... Was named 2014 OVC Field Athlete of the Year... Earned OVC Field Athlete of the Week twice (Jan. 15, 29)... Won the shot put at the OVC Championships with a heave of 17.71m... Finished runner-up in the weight throw with a mark of 18.38m... Had a career-best 19.29m weight throw at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet... Also won the shot put against SIUE (17.26m)... Season-best shot put throw of 17.98m at the Indiana University Relays... Won both the shot put and the weight throw at the Redhawks Invite.
2013 Outdoor: Competed in 11 meets… Became the first Redhawk to be named a first-team All-American since 2008 after finishing seventh in the shot put with a school-record throw of 61-11 3/4 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/5-8)… Named CoSIDA Academic All-District, a Southeast Scholar-Athlete, placed on the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and landed a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team… Launched a throw of 60-8 1/2 to finish eighth in the shot put at the NCAA West Region Prelims (5/23-25), punching his ticket to nationals… Won the shot put at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/10-11) with a then-record throw of 60-3 1/4… Named OVC Male Field Co-Athlete of the Year… Voted OVC Male Athlete of the Championship after winning both the shot put (56-3 1/4) and discus (166-6) while finishing runner-up in the hammer throw (177-10) at the OVC Outdoor Championships (5/3-4)… Accumulated 18 top-three finishes and won eight event titles.
2013 Indoor: Threw in eight meets… Notched 10 top-three finishes… Won the shot put (56-10 3/4) while taking second in the weight throw (60-1) at the OVC Indoor Championships (2/22-23)… Launched a career-best throw of 58-11 1/4 to take second in the shot put at the Arkansas Final Qualifier (3/1).2012 Outdoor: Competed in 10 meets… Named OVC Male Freshman of the Year…named a Southeast Scholar- Athlete… Posted 16 top-five finishes… Placed on the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Earned a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team… Qualified for the NCAA West Region prelims in the shot put, where he placed 29th with a throw of 56-3… Competed at the USA Junior Track and Field Championships, where he finished 14th in the shot put (57-0)… Scored in all three of his throwing events, earning second-team All-OVC honors in the discus with a runner-up throw of 164-10 (career best) at the OVC Outdoor Championships (5/4-5)… Also placed third in the shot put (56-2) and fourth in the hammer throw (179-0) at the conference meet… Finished runner-up in the shot put with a career-best throw of 58-2 at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational, a throw that earned him OVC Co-Field Athlete of the Week honors… Achieved a season-best hammer throw of 180-3 at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
2012 Indoor: Competed in eight meets… Finished second at the OVC Indoor Championships in the shot put at 55-2.. Earning second-team All-OVC honors… Threw an indoor-career best of 55- 4 1/4 at the Indiana Relays finishing in second… Threw a indoor career-best of 55-5 3/4 in the weight throw at the Arkansas State Kickoff Klassic.
Prep: Graduate of Lonphier High School... Was a two-time state champion in the shot put and holds the Illinois State record in the shot put... Threw a career-high 62’ 11.5” in the shot put and 175’ 0.8” in the discuss throw... Was a three year letter winner in track and field under head coach Mike Garcia... Also participated in wrestling.
Personal: Born July 18, 1993... Son of Robert Farley and Tina Toigo... Majoring in Pre-Med at Southeast.
