CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Southeast Missouri (1-13, 0-4) hosts a pair of Ohio Valley Conference matches this weekend. The Redhawks welcome Austin Peay (2-8, 1-3) Friday and Murray State (7-7, 2-2) Saturday. Both contests are scheduled for 2 p.m., CT, at the Redhawks Tennis Complex.
"We are looking forward to hosting our first home matches this spring," said Southeast head coach
Mary Beth Gunn. "Austin Peay and Murray will be good competition for us."
The Redhawks are coming off a 7-0 loss to UT Martin and look to snap a 12-match losing streak.
Isabella Krupa currently leads the team with seven total victories, including four in singles play.
APSU has dropped back-to-back matches and enters the weekend at 1-3 in conference play. Lidia Yanes Garcia leads the Lady Govs with eight wins at the No. 1 spot in singles.
Meanwhile, MSU has lost three of its last four matchups. The Racers have OVC wins over Morehead State and Eastern Illinois. Megan Blue leads MSU with a 6-10 single record.
The first 50 students will receive a free hot dog, chips and drink prior to Friday's match against APSU.
