DENVER, Colo. – The Southeast Missouri gymnastics team finished in fourth-place (192.650) at the quad-meet hosted by Denver University Saturday.
Alexis Brawner set a new career-high with an all-around score of 39.125.
Denver won the meet posting a 197.525. Iowa came in second with a score of 196.075. Illinois-Chicago claimed third-place with a 193.000.

The Redhawks opened the meet on beam with a 47.450.
Alyssa Tucker led the way with a 9.750, setting a new season-high. Brawner followed close behind with a 9.700.
Lauren Israel came in third on the team with a score of 9.675.
McKenna Stanley and
Taylor Penzien closed out the top-five with scores of 9.200 and 9.125, respectively.
On rotation two, Southeast scored a 48.325 on floor. Three Redhawks scored a 9.700 or higher.
McKinzie Jones finished first on the team with a 9.875, tying a season-best on the event. Brawner followed with a solid performance of her own, scoring a 9.825. Israel came in third with a score of 9.700.
Jordan Clark (9.575) and Stanley (9.350) rounded out the top-five for the squad.
In the third rotation, the Redhawks finished with a strong 48.250 on vault. Every Redhawk set or tied a season-high in the event. Brawner continued her stellar night with a huge 9.875. Stanley came in second on the team with a solid vault, posting a 9.650.
Allyson Bell (9.600), Clark (9.575) and Jones (9.550) each fared well to close out the rotation.
Southeast closed out the meet with a 48.625 on bars. Israel placed first on the team with a 9.825. Brawner closed out her career-night with a 9.725, while Tucker also tallied a 9.725. Jones and Penzien tied for fourth on the team, each scoring a 9.675.
The Redhawks come back home for their final regular season home meet on Saturday, Mar. 5. The meet will begin at 1 p.m.
