CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's basketball (4-5) tied program records for points in a game and 3-pointer made in Sunday's 107-59 victory over Stephens College (2-9).

The Redhawks' 107 points ties the record set on Nov. 23, 2004 against Lyon College. SEMO drained 16 triples in Sunday's game, tying the record set on Jan. 11, 2003 against Morehead State.

As a team, Southeast played all 12 available players with everyone seeing double-digit minutes and all scoring but one. Four scored in double figures. In all, 34 season/career highs were set in the contest.

Olivia Hackmann and
Hannah Noe co-led the team in scoring, turning in 18 points apiece. Noe tied a career-best six 3-pointers while her 18 points tied a season high. She also dished out a season-best three assists. Hackmann earned four steals, setting a new career-high in the category.

Lakyn Gulley hit four buckets from 3-point range en route to a season-high 12 points.
Bri Mitchell was the fourth Redhawk in double-figure scoring, turning in 11 points. Â

Adrianna Murphy did a little bit of everything on Sunday, handing out 11 assists, pulling in a team-high six rebounds, and finishing with four points and a pair of steals.

As a team, the Redhawks shot 51.3 percent (41-of-80) from the field and a very impressive 64 percent (16-of-25) from beyond the arc. Southeast outrebounded the Stars 39-30 and passed out a season-high 26 assists, 17 steals, and gave up a season-low eight turnovers. Â

Stephens' 30 mishandlings resulted in 43 points off turnovers for the Redhawks. SEMO also scored 34 points on fast break buckets and the bench recorded a combined 50 points, all season highs.

Southeast opened the game with a prompt 10-2 lead on the Stars. SEMO worked to the widen the early lead to 16-4. Back-to-back 3-point buckets from Kendahl Adams cut into the Redhawk lead, 18-12. Southeast closed the quarter on a 7-2 run to lead 25-14 after the opening 10 minutes.

A couple treys by Noe had her leading the team with six points in the first quarter but three other Redhawks each had four points. Eight total SEMO players scored in the first quarter.

The Redhawks opened the second quarter on a 9-2 run, unwrapping an 18-point lead. Southeast went on to rattle off 35 points in the quarter while holding the stars to 13 points.

At halftime, the Redhawks led Stephens 60-27. Southeast's 60 points is a season-high in a half and fell one short of the program record of 61 accomplished three times, last vs. Lyons in 2004.

Hackmann put up eight points in the second quarter to pull into the leading scorer role with 12 at halftime. She was the lone Redhawk at half with double-digit points; however, SEMO had 11 players with point totals at half.

A 14-0 run kicked off the third quarter scoring for the Redhawks to go ahead by 40 points. After the run, the Redhawks were outscored 19-12 in the final seven minutes of the frame. The quarter ended with SEMO on top by 40, 86-46. Noe contributed nine third-quarter points.

In the fourth quarter, 18 of 21 points came from the SEMO bench. Gulley hit two triples in the fourth for six points while
Jessie Harshberger and
Iyanna McCurdy had five each. It was Harshberger's 3-point conversion that tipped the century mark for SEMO and McCurdy's layup with 1:11 to play that tied the points record.

Adams led the way for Stephens with 24 points in the contest. Briana Clark had 13 of her own while also adding 10 rebounds for the double-double.

Southeast Missouri will close its three-game homestand on Tuesday when Lipscomb comes to the Show Me Center. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
