Series History
The Redhawks trail in the all-time series dating back to 1977, 8-12. Since SEMO has gone Division I, the series is tied 6-6. Southeast is 5-5 against Saint Louis in the Show Me Center. The Redhawks will look to snap a three-game losing streak to SLU dating back to 2013. The last win over the Billikens came in Cape on Jan. 9, 2013. SEMO took on SLU in the season opener a season ago in St. Louis, falling 67-52 in the contest.

Scouting the Billikens
Saint Louis enters Tuesday's game with an impressive 5-1 record, having just suffered its first loss at the hands of Little Rock on Saturday, falling 56-43. The Billikens have been garnering national attention as they've received votes in this week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. SLU is the preseason favorite to win the Atlantic 10 Conference championship. The Billikens received nine of 14 first-place votes in the coaches' preseason poll. The Billikens have three players in double-figure scoring led by Jackie Kemph's 16.7 points per game. Sadie Stipanovich is averaging 11.7 points and a team-best 7.5 rebounds per game. The 6-3 center is currently shooting 57.7 percent from the field this season. Earlier this season, SLU defeated OVC powerhouse SIUE by 41 points, 90-49. SLU has road wins over UC Irvine (79-69), Loyola Marymount (90-76), and Bradley (68-58).

Looking Back
Southeast Missouri women's basketball defeated Alcorn State Saturday 68-50 to wrap up play at the Southern Miss Thanksgiving Classic. Hannah Noe tied a season-high 18 points in the contest. Noe shot 6-of-9 from the field including hitting four 3-pointers and going 2-of-3 from the line. Noe earned all-tournament team honors for her performance this weekend, averaging 16.0 points per game in the tournament. For the first time this season, Olivia Hackmann was held to single-digit points, finishing with nine points and pulling in six rebounds. Deja Jones nearly missed a double-double, ending the game with nine rebounds and eight points. Adrianna Murphy also had eight points while dishing out six assists. Southeast shot 26-of-59 (44.1%) from the field including hitting eight 3-pointers. The Redhawks drained 8-of-11 free-throws in the game. The Redhawk defense held Alcorn State to a sub-30 shooting percentage.

Coaching Connection
Former Southeast Missouri head coach Ty Margenthaler will make his return to the Show Me Center Tuesday evening. Margenthaler is in his first season on Lisa Stone's staff as an assistant coach. Last season, he was an assistant coach at Samford in Birmingham, Alabama. Margenthaler was at Southeast for four seasons, compiling a 37-78 record.

Redhawks for THREE!!
As a team, Southeast Missouri ranks 13th nationally in 3-point field goals made (54) while ranking 18th in 3-point field goal percentage (.403). In the OVC, the Redhawks rank third behind Belmont and Murray in 3-pointers made but lead in 3-point shooting. Hannah Noe's 20 3-pointers rank 20th in the country, second in the league. The Redhawks ranked last in the conference a season ago in 3-point shooting.

How May We Assist?
Sophomore point guard Adrianna Murphy currently leads the country with 55 assists this season. Her 7.9 assists per game ranks fourth. Additionally, Bri Mitchell's 43 assists ranks eighth nationally. As a team, the Redhawks rank eighth in the nation with 132 assists.

Eyes on One Thousand
Olivia Hackmann is quickly approaching one thousand points in her career. She has 895 so far, needing only 105 more. Bri Mitchell is also well on her way with 809 career points. There are 16 total members of Southeast's 1,000-point club, only seven of which have come in the Division I era. Sonya Daugherty and Tarina Nixon (2005-09) were the last inducted into the club.
