Photo GalleryCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri won a home dual, 191.050-187.600, against Centenary Friday evening at Houck Field House.
Alexandria Stokes won the all-around with a 38.350 and the Redhawks recorded a season-high 49.000 on bars, which tied for the seventh-best mark in program history and first since 2004.

"I feel really good about what our athletes did on bars and I'm really proud of our bars team," head coach
Kristi Ewasko said. "We'll get back in practice and make some adjustments next week. Winning the all-around is huge for Alex, and I'm really proud of her stepping up and winning in just her second career all-around performance. I'm also really glad to send our fifth-year senior,
Erin Brady, out a winner."

The Redhawks opened on vault and scored 47.950, led by a 9.700 by Thomas and scores of 9.600 from
Jordan Clark and
Alexis Brawner. Clark tied her career-high and set a career-best mark for her second straight event.

Centenary began on bars and recorded a 47.050. Ashley White recorded to the top score with a 9.675 while Allison Scates added a 9.625.

The squads then flipped events for the second rotation with Southeast on bars and Centenary on vault.

Penzien led the way with a career-high 9.875 on bars while
McKenna Stanley added a career-best 9.825 and Stokes recorded a career-best 9.825. The score of 39.000 was the third in program history. It was also recorded in 2004 vs. Hamline and in 2003 at Illinois State.

On vault, Centenary scored 47.375, led by a 9.750 from Noel Stubbs, which was the best score of the meet. White added a 9.650.

During the third rotation, the Redhawks registered a 46.050 on balance beam. Stokes set a new career-high with a 9.700 while
Lauren Israel added a 9.675.

On floor exercise, Centenary scored 46.575, paced by a 9.700 from White.

To wrap up the meet, the Redhawks scored 48.050, led by a 9.800 by Thomas and a career-high 9.775 from Israel.

Centenary posted a 46.600 on beam. Kellie Slater led the team with a 9.625.
Thomas finished second in the all-around with a 38.250 while White placed third with a 38.100.

The Redhawks will return to action on Sunday, March 15 at Illinois-Chicago. The dual at UIC Pavilion is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CT to wrap up the regular season slate.Â
