The End of the Road... TripSoutheast Missouri (5-4) will bring a close to it six-game road swing Tuesday when they travel to Nashville, Tennessee for a matchup with Lipscomb University (3-6). The Redhawks and Lady Bisons tip off from Allen Arena at 6:30 p.m.

Series HistorySoutheast Missouri and Lipscomb will meet for the seventh time on Tuesday. The first meeting between the teams dates back to Dec. 9, 1986 in Cape Girardeau. Southeast won the game, 70-48. Southeast and Lipscomb have not played each other since Dec. 20, 2003; the Bisons won, 52-47, in Nashville. The Redhawks lead the all-time series, 4-2.

Imani Johnson picked up her first career double-double with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. The Redhawks trailed by five at halftime but came out and held the Shockers to just six points in the third quarter. Looking at the Lipscomb Lady BisonsThe Lady Bisons are off to a 3-6 start to the season. In their nine games, they have played four Ohio Valley Conference teams, going 1-3 against said OVC teams. Their lone win over an OVC team came at home against Murray State, 93-85. They have lost to Tennessee Tech (81-70), Belmont (90-68), and Morehead State (92-77). The Lady Bisons are led in scoring by Ashley Southern who averages 21.1 points a game. Southern is also their leading rebounder, tallying 11.6 boards per game.

Looking AheadSoutheast will return home to the Show Me Center to face Central Arkansas on Sunday, Dec. 13. The Redhawks will be hosting a free youth clinic following the game. The clinic is part of the Academy Sports + Outdoors Clinic Series. The clinic is open to kids in sixth grade and younger. Additionally, kids ages 14 and under will receive free admission to Sunday's game. The Redhawks will not be in action again until Dec. 22 when they host Southern Illinois.

Olivia Hackmann, Southeast's leading scorer, is out indefinitely due to a Jones Fracture in her right foot.

Hot off the BenchThe Redhawks bench has been big this season, putting up 25.8 points per game. The bench has scored almost 40% of the team's points this season. Top bench performers include
Erin Bollmann who averages 10 points a game as well as eight rebounds a game. Bollmann also has three double-doubles this season, all off the bench.
Hannah Noe has come off the bench and drained a team-high 13 3-point buckets this season. Redshirt-freshman
Imani Johnson has also come off the bench this season. Johnson put up 15 points against Idaho State and earned her first career double-double at Wichita State with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Robbing the OpponentThe Redhawks have picked up a knack for stealing the ball. The Redhawks 71 steals ranks 90th nationally, fourth in the OVC.
Erin Bollmann is the Redhawks' steals leader with 24 this season, good enough for 27th in the country. Bollmann averages 2.7 steals per game.

Lending a Helping HandFreshman
Adrianna Murphy ranks 35th nationally in assists with 42 on the season. Murphy has 4.7 assists per game, which ranks 77th. She put up 12 in the game against Western Illinois. Murphy's 12 assists in a game was the most since Sarah Costello recorded 10 assists on Feb. 10, 2004. Murphy's 12-assist game is a season-high in the OVC this season and is tied for eighth most in a game in the NCAA.

Third Quarter SlumpThe third quarter has not been friendly to the Redhawks this season, being outscored 171-131. Southeast averages 14.5 points in the third. In the second half overall, the Redhawks have been outscored by 45 points this season. The Redhawks have outscored their opponent in the third quarter only twice this season (Western Illinois; Wichita State).
