HTML Results | PDF Results NORMAN, Okla. – Southeast Missouri posted a 192.850 overall score in Friday evening's tri-meet hosted by defending co-national champion and current No. 1 Oklahoma. The Redhawks finished second in the meet as Oklahoma recorded the highest score in the nation this season with a 197.850 while Texas Woman's finished at 190.350 in front of a gymnastics record 3,923 fans at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Alyssa Tucker won the all-around title with a career-high 39.125 while
Chelsi Hamilton finished second with a career-best 38.875.
Ashley Thomas placed fourth in the all-around with a 38.375.
"After a rough start and last-minute change to the lineup on floor, this team rallied to have season-highs on the final two events," head coach
Kristi Ewasko said. "I'm really proud that this team didn't cave after such a rough two events but they showed the drive and determination to fight until the end.
"Tucker did what Tucker does best and just did her thing with a career-high in the all-around. Keep watch because she's still got more to come."
Southeast posted scores of 48.825 on vault and 48.725 on uneven bars to set season-bests. The vault total tied for the 10
th-best in program history.
The Redhawks opened the meet on balance beam, where they recorded a 47.525 total, led by a 9.750 from Tucker and 9.675 by Thomas. Hamilton added a season-high 9.650.
In the second rotation, Southeast finished with a 47.775 on floor exercise. Tucker scored a career-best 9.800 while Hamilton added a season-best 9.750.
Southeast recorded the highest event total of the season with a 48.825 on vault during the third rotation, highlighted by career-bests from
Alexis Brawner and Tucker. Brawner posted a 9.850, the highest individual event score of the season for the Redhawks. Tucker set a new career-best with a 9.800.
To wrap up the meet, Southeast scored a season-best 48.725 on bars. Thomas set a new career-high with a 9.775, which was matched by Tucker, who tied her season-high for the second consecutive week.
McKenna Stanley posted a season-best 9.750.
Oklahoma gymnasts Haley Scaman and Brenna Dowell scored perfect 10.000's on vault and bars, respectively, during the meet.
Stephanie Repp of Texas Woman's finished third in the all-around with a 38.750 overall score.
Southeast will return home to Houck Field House next Friday as the Redhawks host a 6:30 p.m. tri-meet against Missouri and Lindenwood.
