AMES, Iowa – Southeast Missouri scored 193.300 against Iowa State and Oregon State on Sunday afternoon in front of a crowd of 5,603 at Hilton Coliseum.
Alyssa Tucker finished fourth overall in the all-around with a career-best 39.025 total.

"I'm proud of this team for not quitting this afternoon," head coach
Kristi Ewasko said. "It's hard to start on beam, especially in a loud arena, but they hung in there after the falls on beam to have three decent events. We've still got little adjustments to make to keep improving each week and we are ready to get back to practice and to take advantage of further opportunities.

The Redhawks started out the meet on balance beam and scored 47.750, led by a 9.825 from Tucker.
Ashley Thomas added a 9.700.

In the second rotation, Southeast scored 48.525 on floor exercise. Tucker again posted the highest individual score for the Redhawks with a 9.825. Thomas added a 9.725 while
Chelsi Hamilton and
Lauren Israel both scored 9.700.

Southeast scored 48.500 on vault during the third rotation.
Erin Brady,
Alexis Brawner and Hamilton led the Redhawks with individual 9.775 totals.

To conclude the meet, Southeast posted a 48.525 on uneven bars. Tucker again scored a team-best 9.775 followed by a 9.750 from Hamilton and a 9.700 by Israel.

Thomas finished sixth in the all-around with a 38.625 total while Hamilton placed seventh with a score of 38.225.

The Redhawks will return to action on Friday evening with a 7 p.m. tri-meet at Oklahoma's Lloyd Noble Center in a competition that will also include Texas Woman's.
