Redhawks Travel to Arkansas for Two Matches This Weekend

Heather Robinson has won five-straight singles matches
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri (4-4) looks to snap a two-match losing streak when it travels to Arkansas State (3-4) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (4-2) this weekend. The Redhawks will square off against the Red Wolves Saturday before facing the Golden Lions Sunday.

Southeast, which is on the road for its first 10 matches this season, is coming off losses to Saint Louis (Feb. 22) and Southern Illinois (Feb. 23). The Redhawks meet ASU for the 14th time, while Sunday's matchup marks the first meeting between Southeast and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Heather Robinson looks to keep her winning streak alive in singles play where she has won five-straight matches. Robinson owns a team-best 6-2 dual singles record at the No. 4 position. She is 7-3 in her last 10 contests.

Valeriia Nagovitcina follows with a 5-3 mark at the No. 2 singles spot.

Valeriia Kashina and Ekaterina Donetckova enter the weekend on a four-match winning streak in doubles action. Kashina and Donetckova dropped their first two matches of the season before heating up to win their last four at the top of the lineup.

Southeast faces Arkansas State at 1 p.m., CT, Saturday and Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Noon, CT, Sunday.
