Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Game 1 Box Score | Game 2 Box Score

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Southeast Missouri (5-11) was swept in a doubleheader for the first time this season when it lost to Indiana State (16-9) by scores of 3-2 and 2-0 Wednesday afternoon at Price Field.

Southeast is on a four-game losing streak and has fallen in eight of its last nine contests.

"Hannah, Aubrey and Keaira gave us solid innings today and seeing some consistency from a young staff was a plus," said Southeast head coach Lana Richmond. "We were unable to connect with runners on base in each game. We had our chances, but didn't get the big hit. We are playing without major bats in the lineup due to injuries."

Southeast had one last chance with runners on first and second and two outs in the seventh. Rachael Duncan delivered a pinch-hit double to right center with one away. After Savannah Carpenter popped up to short, Smith kept the rally alive with a walk. Krack's ensuing line drive was caught by Allee, as ISU survived.
