Quick Hits

What a win will do
A win will be the first time Southeast had consecutive wins over EIU since the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.

A victory would snap a current two-game losing streak for the Redhawks.

Now Trending
Patricia Mack had a career weekend, first tying her career-bests with 17 points and six assists at EKU while adding 13 rebounds. She followed that up with setting a new career-high with 22 points against Austin Peay. Mack had a double-double in both games and averaged 19.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

Kenyada Brown has strung to strong weeks together, including her best yet for the Redhawks. Brown established a new career-high with 14 points at EKU, her first time in double-figures. She followed that with an 11-rebound effort against Austin Peay and fell just shy of averaging a double-double for the week.

Five in Double Figures
Twice this year the Redhawks have placed five scorers in double-digits. The first time was a 72-56 victory over Illinois-Springfield. The second time was a 79-71 win over SIU Edwardsville.

Second Half Surge
The Redhawks put their patented second half surge on display in its victory over SIUE scoring 49 points. However, the season has shown that Southeast shoots much better in the second half. In the first half of games this year, the Redhawks score 592 points (26.91 points per game/half) while the second half shows an increase to 747 points (33.95 points per game/half).

Chasing the Record Book
Junior Allyson Bradshaw is making her mark in the record books. The Cape Girardeau native has made 114 3-point field goals in her career, which ranks fifth all-time.  To move into fourth place, Bradshaw needs five makes to tie Paula Corder-King who played from 1998-2000. At her current pace of making 1.4 3-point field goals per game, Bradshaw should threaten to be the most prolific long-range shooter in Southeast history, chasing a total of 174 set by Julie Meier from 1991-95.

Mack is climbing the record book at Southeast as well. As of Feb. 7, the senior ranks fifth in school history with 777 rebounds. Gray C Harris is next in line with 872 career rebounds from1992-96.

January to Remember
Senior Jordan Hunter had a six-game stretch that she averaged 17 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists. The Redhawks went 3-3 during the stretch in the month of January.

Rebounds All Around
The Redhawks own the third-best rebound margin in the OVC at +1.7. Southeast ranks third grabbing 70.4 percent of all defensive rebounds while ranking fifth on the other end of the floor, securing 33.9 percent of available offensive rebounds.

Patricia Mack and Connor King have dominated the boards for the Redhawks, combining for nearly 40 percent of Southeast's rebounds. Mack accounts for 22 percent while King accounts for 16 percent of the available rebounds.

At 9.7 rebounds per game, Mack ranks third in the OVC in rebounds per game. She trails Jessica Winfrey of Murray State who grabs 11.6 and Sabina Oroszoba of EIU who grabs 10.6 per game.

Pink Up Night
Southeast Missouri and Saint Francis Medical Center will host Pink Up Night on Feb. 22 to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
