O'FALLON, Ill. - Southeast Missouri (4-3) saw its three-match winning streak end in a 6-1 loss to regional-rival Saint Louis Saturday.
Heather Robinson secured Southeast's only point when she defeated Brooke Urzendowski in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) at No. 4 singles. The Redhawks came up short in a trio of tiebreakers when
Valeriia Kashina fell to Aspen Cervin, 6-4, 4-6, 0-1 (8-10) at No. 1,
Annisa Warasanti lost, 7-5, 6-7, 0-1 (6-10) at No. 5 and
Melissa Martin dropped a 6-1, 4-6, 0-1 (8-10) decision to Madison Cook at No. 6.
Kashina and
Ekaterina Donetckova beat Stephanie Hollis and Urzendowski, 6-3, in No. 1 doubles, but the Billikens took the point with wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.

The Redhawks return to action at Southern Illinois Sunday.
