Freshman
Alyssa Tucker won the balance beam while senior
Taryn Vanderpool took home the individual victory on the uneven bars for the Redhawks.
"Tucker and Taryn continue to do really well," Southeast head coach
Kristi Ewasko said. "They still have the potential to do better as well."
The victory was the first of her young career for Tucker while it was the first of the season for Vanderpool.
The first rotation saw the Redhawks begin on the uneven bars posting a 48.625. Vanderpool won the event with a 9.875, a season high. Tucker scored a 9.750 while fellow newcomer
Alexandria Stokes received a 9.700.

Bailey Walker led the Redhawks with a 9.750 followed by
Megan Fosnow and Vanderpool who scored a 9.725 and 9.700, respectively.
"We had better vaulting than we have had in the past," Ewasko said. "We had a couple of athletes stumble more than usual, which is why a few of the scores are a little lower but we definitely had some better vaults. "
Julie Konner won the event for Sacramento State with a 9.800. As a squad, the Hornets posted a 48.475.
At the midway point of the meet, the Hornets held a slim 97.375-96.950 advantage in the team scores.

Heading into the final rotation, neck-and-neck for the dual lead, the Redhawks scored a 47.900 on the balance beam. Tucker won the event with a 9.725.
"Chelsi really stepped up on the floor and the beam," Ewasko said. "She put in a good week of strong training, so I am proud of her results."
However, Sacramento State snuck by with a 47.575 which was just enough for the dual victory. Kalliah McCartney was the top finisher for the Hornets with a 9.700.
McCartney was the top finisher in the all around, scoring a 39.075. Vanderpool finished second with a 38.950 while Tucker had a 38.650.
Southeast returns to its home turf, hosting Wisconsin-Whitewater and Lindenwood for a 6:30 p.m. dual in Houck Field House. This will be the Redhawks first look at fellow Midwest Independent Conference foe Lindenwood.
"Getting back in front of the home crowd will be a good boost," Ewasko said. "It is a good next step in our season as we move forward."
