Quick Hits

What a Win Will Do
A win snaps a two-game losing streak and rights the ship heading into the final 11 games of the regular season.

A win also snaps an eight-game losing streak against Morehead State, dating back to Feb. 7, 2008, the last time Southeast beat the Eagles, a 50-48 win in Morehead, Ky.

Now Trending
Senior Jordan Hunter has been heating up over the last three games, averaging 17.5 points per game. She leads the squad during OVC play with 13.3 points per game. The New Zealand native has led the Redhawks in scoring three times this year and nine times over the last two seasons.

Mitchell Lights the Night
Freshman Brianna Mitchell had the best game of her young career scoring 20 points at UT Martin. She was very efficient with 4-of-6 shooting and making 12-of-14 free throws. It was the second 20-point game this year for the Redhawks.

Active OVC Leaders
Senior Patricia Mack is the active leader in the OVC with 725 career rebounds. She places ahead of Jessica Winfrey of Murray State who has corralled 703 rebounds.

Allyson Bradshaw is ranked seventh on the active 3-pointers made list in the OVC with 104. Heather Butler of UT Martin is ranked first with 333.

Chasing the Record Book
Junior Allyson Bradshaw is also making her mark in the record books. The Cape Girardeau native has made 104 3-point field goals in her career, which ranks sixth all-time. Rusty Sowers, who played from 1997-99, is next on the list 110 made 3-point field goals.  At her current pace of making 1.4 3-point field goals per game, Bradshaw should threaten to be the most prolific long-range shooter in Southeast history, chasing a total of 174 set by Julie Meier from 1991-95.

Mack is climbing the record book at Southeast as well. As of Jan. 19, the senior ranks sixth in school history with 725 rebounds. She is on the verge of passing Lachelle Lyles who has 726 rebounds from 2005-07, for a top-five spot. Renee Rogliardi is fourth all time with 766 career rebounds from 1983-87.

Rebounds All Around

The Redhawks own the third-best rebound margin in the OVC at +1.4. Southeast ranks third grabbing 69.6 percent of all defensive rebounds while ranking second on the other end of the floor, securing 34.3 percent of available offensive rebounds.

Patricia Mack and Connor King have dominated the boards for the Redhawks, combining for nearly 40 percent of Southeast's rebounds. Mack accounts for 22 percent while King accounts for 16 percent of the available rebounds.

At 9.4 rebounds per game, Mack ranks third in the OVC in rebounds per game. She trails Jessica Winfrey of Murray State who grabs 11.5 and Sabina Oroszoba of EIU who grabs 10.4 per game.

King has quietly snuck into the top-15 with 5.7 rebounds per game.
