Quick Hits
About Eastern Illinois – The Panthers have won three-straight games and nine of their last 11 contests to grab sole possession of first place in the OVC West Division standings (14-8 overall, 8-2 OVC). Five of those victories have been by double digits as EIU boasts the league's second-best offense (68.4 points per game). Mariah King (14.3 points per game) and Ta'Kenya Nixon (13.8) both score in double figures on average, ranking sixth and seventh in the OVC, respectively. Nixon also ranks in the top-10 in the conference in field goal percentage (10th; 43.8), assists (second; 5.7), steals (third; 2.4), free throw percentage (10th; 75.3) and assist to turnover ratio (fourth; 1.7).

Last Meeting – Four Redhawks scored in double figures, led by Bailie Roberts' 14 points, as they played a competitive road game in Charleston. After trailing 39-34 at halftime, Southeast stormed out of the gates with a 9-0 run to grab a 43-39 lead with 17:17 to play. EIU countered to grab a 53-48 lead, but a three by Allyson Bradshaw cut the deficit to 53-51 with under 15 minutes left. The Panthers put the game away with a 14-2 run and outscored the Redhawks 29-11 the rest of the way to pull off their eighth-straight win in the season series.

With a win, Southeast would…
•End a three-game home losing streak.

•Win consecutive games for the first time since Jan. 5-9 (three in a row).

•Defeat Eastern Illinois for the first time since Jan. 10, 2009 (lost eight straight).

•Win 10 games for the first time since the 2008-09 season.

Southeast Trends
Bailie Roberts has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 12 games.

Brittany Harriel is averaging 12.5 points on 45.7 percent shooting in her past four contests.

•The Redhawks have lost 12-straight games when allowing 60 or more points.

Kara Wright's point total the last four games: 0, 22, 0 and 23.

Patricia Mack has grabbed seven or more rebounds in 16 of her last 17 games.

•Southeast has made eight three-pointers in five of the last six games.

Healthy Bodies Win Games – Southeast has battled the injury bug at various points this season and the shorthanded lineup has had difficulty stringing wins together. Brittany Harriel missed seven games this season and most of an eighth when she was injured in the first half against Houston on Nov. 23, Courtney Shiffer sat out five games with a concussion sustained at practice prior to the Redhawks' Jan. 14 game at Tennessee State and Allyson Bradshaw missed another game due to a shoulder injury before the team's Dec. 18 contest at Western Kentucky. When those three have played and been available the entire game, the Redhawks are 6-4. When at least one of those players has missed time, Southeast has gone 3-10.

Record Shooters – Bailie Roberts and Allyson Bradshaw etched their names into the Southeast record books during its road trip last weekend. The duo cracked the Redhawks' career top-10 list of three-pointers made. Roberts sits 10th all-time at Southeast with 73 three-pointers in her four-year career. In only her second year, Bradshaw sits ninth in school history with 76 three-point makes, six behind Anne Cate's career total of 82. The Cape Girardeau, Mo., native has hit 42 three-pointers this season and is 10 makes shy of cracking the single-season top-10 list at Southeast.

Two 'Wrights', Two Wrongs – Kara Wright has alternated breakout games with scoreless outings in her last four contests. In Southeast's Jan. 26 with Eastern Illinois, Wright went scoreless for the game. She followed that up with a team-high 22 points at SIU Edwardsville on Jan. 28. The Louisvlle, Ky., native went scoreless once again against Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 2, going 0-of-12 from the field before bouncing back to score a career-high 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting in a Feb. 4 win at Austin Peay. Wright is the first Southeast freshman to score 20 points in a game since Tarina Nixon scored 21 at Jacksonville State on Dec. 20, 2005.

Nearing a Milestone – Senior Bailie Roberts has been on quite a roll lately, scoring in double figures in 10 of Southeast's last 12 games and averaging 12.8 points per game in that span. Roberts is 88 points shy of becoming the 17th Redhawk to score 1,000 career points. In order to hit that mark during the regular season, she needs to average 14.7 points over Southeast's final six games. Only six players have scored 1,000 points playing Division I at Southeast for their entire career dating back to the 1991-92 season. The last Southeast player to score 1,000 points was Tarina Nixon, who did so during the 2008-09 season and finished her career with 1,150 points.
