Pink Up Night Promotion – The Redhawks are honoring seniors
Brittany Harriel,
Bailie Roberts,
Courtney Shiffer and
Katie Norman as part of senior night. Monday's game is also Pink Up Night, where Southeast will wear pink jerseys and encourage fans to do the same. All ticket sales from this game go towards the Redhawks Dig for Life charity, providing free mammograms for early breast cancer detection to women in need.
About Tennessee Tech – The Golden Eagles sit in second place in the OVC East Division standings at 15-11 overall and 9-4 in OVC play. TTU has been off since Feb. 18, when it had its four-game winning streak snapped at Eastern Kentucky (61-55). Diamond Henderson (16.3 points per game) and Jala Harris (12.8 points per game) both average double-digit points with Henderson ranking fifth in the conference in scoring. The Golden Eagle offense leads the league in field goal percentage (42.4 percent) and three-point percentage (37.8 percent). Four of TTU's last five games have been decided by six points or less and Tennessee Tech has gone 3-1 in those contests.
Last Meeting – Southeast Missouri took a 28-17 lead with two and a half minutes left in the first half in Cookeville, Tenn. a year ago. The Golden Eagles roared back in the second half to grab a four-point lead (36-32) with 13:25 left, setting up a dramatic finish.
Patricia Mack's jumper with 4:41 to play put Southeast ahead 50-46, but would mark the team's final points in regulation. Molly Heady's layup tied the score at 50 apiece with 1:41 left and the game eventually went to overtime.
Brittany Harriel made a layup to put the Redhawks ahead 55-52 with 2:16 left in the extra session, but an 8-0 run put the Golden Eagles on top in the closing seconds and allowed them to escape with the win.
With a win, Southeast would…
•Win its most OVC games since the 2008-09 season.
•Defeat Tennessee Tech for the first time since Jan. 2, 2010, snapping a four-game losing streak in the series.
•Improve Southeast to 1-5 against the OVC East Division this season.

Senior Roundup – Before Monday's game against Tennessee Tech, Southeast will honor seniors
Brittany Harriel,
Bailie Roberts,
Courtney Shiffer and
Katie Norman. All four players saw significant time on the court during their playing careers, playing a combined 344 games and starting 266 times. Roberts has scored 958 career points, posted four double-doubles in four years and leads the Redhawks in scoring this season. Harriel has chipped in 842 points and recorded eight career double-doubles while leading the team as a sophomore and junior. Shiffer has one double-double in her career and started 71 games in three years. Norman had her playing career cut short due to a back injury, but led the team in scoring as a freshman and sophomore, posting 459 career points. All four were named Southeast Scholar-Athletes and placed on the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll at least twice in their careers.
Second Half Struggles – Southeast has had a difficult time parlaying strong first half efforts into victories during OVC play. The Redhawks have held a halftime lead in eight of their 14 conference games, but are only 4-4 in those instances because they've been outscored in the second half in all but six league games. In OVC play, the Redhawks are outscoring opponents 401-399 in the opening frame, but are being outscored 532-465 in the second half.
Wright Coming On – Freshman guard
Kara Wright has shown growth in the last few weeks, averaging 14.6 points per game in her past seven contests. The Louisville, Ky., native was a three-star recruit out of DePont Manual HS and has shown why she was so highly regarded with three huge games recently. She erupted for 22 points in a Jan. 28 game at SIU Edwardsville and outdid that with 23 points at Austin Peay on Feb. 4. Two games later, Wright again scored 20 in a win over SIU Edwardsville on Feb. 11. Wright is the first Southeast freshman to score 20 points in a game since Tarina Nixon scored 21 at Jacksonville State on Dec. 20, 2005. With 230 points this season, Wright is the first Southeast freshman to score over 200 points in a season since
Katie Norman finished the 2009-10 campaign with 202.
Cleaning the Glass – Junior forward
Patricia Mack has been a force on the glass this season. Mack is fifth in the OVC in rebounding at 9.4 per game, grabbing 10+ boards 14 times this season. The first such performance was a career-high 17-point, 10-rebound double-double at Arkansas State on Nov. 19. At one point this year, she grabbed 10+ rebounds in seven-straight games, becoming the first to do so since Lachelle Lyles did it in 13-straight games on two occasions during the 2006-07 season. Her rebounding average is the best a Southeast player has recorded since Lyles led the nation with an average of 17 rebounds per game in 2006-07. After grabbing 12 rebounds in each of the last two games, Mack has 255 rebounds on the season, tied for the ninth most in school history.
