Quick Hits
About Classroom on the Court – The Redhawks' clash with the Cougars is part of the program's “Classroom on Court” initiative. The classrooms in attendance have worksheets that will highlight the educational skills utilized in the game and throughout life. The students will relate what they learned from the worksheets to real-life situations during the basketball game.

About SIU Edwardsville – Three Cougars posted double-doubles on Saturday as they finished a season sweep of defending OVC Champion UT Martin with a 66-63 road win. SIUE has won four of its last five games to move to third place in the OVC West standings. Three of those wins have been by five points or less. Raven Berry is the focal point of the Cougar attack, averaging 14.0 points per game (seventh in the OVC) and 9.2 rebounds per game (fifth). Tierny Austin also averages double figures, pouring in 11.7 points per game. The Cougars boast the league's top rebounding margin at +8.0 boards per game. SIUE also ranks fourth in the league in scoring defense, yielding 63.3 points per contest.

Last Meeting – Locked in a 53-53 tie with 9:15 left, the Cougars turned the game in their favor with a 15-0 run in a 5:27 span. Raven Berry had the big effort for SIUE, pouring in 28 points and 13 rebounds and going 14-of-17 at the foul line. Kara Wright scored 22 points to lead the Redhawks while Allyson Bradshaw chipped in 17 points on 5-of-10 three-point shooting off the bench.

With a win, Southeast would…
•Snap a two-game losing streak

•Defeat SIU Edwardsville for the first time since Jan. 21, 1991, Southeast's last Division II season (0-5 since)

•Match last season's OVC win total.

•Win 10 games for the first time since the 2008-09 season.

Southeast Trends
Bailie Roberts has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 13 games.

Kara Wright's last two Monday night games: 22 points at SIU Edwardsville and 23 points at Austin Peay.

•The Redhawks have lost 13-straight games when allowing 60 or more points.

•Southeast is averaging 54.3 points the last three games (65.5 the four games prior).

Healthy Bodies Win Games – Southeast has battled the injury bug at various points this season and the shorthanded lineup has had difficulty stringing wins together. Brittany Harriel missed seven games this season and most of an eighth when she was injured in the first half against Houston on Nov. 23, Courtney Shiffer sat out five games with a concussion sustained at practice prior to the Redhawks' Jan. 14 game at Tennessee State and Allyson Bradshaw missed another game due to a shoulder injury before the team's Dec. 18 contest at Western Kentucky. When those three have played and been available the entire game, the Redhawks are 6-5. When at least one of those players has missed time, Southeast has gone 3-10.

Offense Slumping – The Redhawks are in a bit of an offensive funk recently, scoring under 50 points in two of their last three games (both losses). Southeast is averaging 54.3 points per game in the past three contests. Prior to that, Southeast averaged 64.9 points in its first eight OVC games.

Record Shooters – Bailie Roberts and Allyson Bradshaw etched their names into the Southeast record books this season. The duo cracked the Redhawks' career top-10 list of three-pointers made. Roberts sits 10th all-time at Southeast with 73 three-pointers in her four-year career. In only her second year, Bradshaw sits ninth in school history with 77 three-point makes, five behind Anne Cate's career total of 82. The Cape Girardeau, Mo., native has hit 43 three-pointers this season and is nine makes shy of cracking the single-season top-10 list at Southeast.

Wright Coming On – Freshman guard Kara Wright has shown growth in the last few weeks, averaging 10.8 points per game in her past five contests. The Louisville, Ky., native was a three-star recruit out of DePont Manual HS and has shown why she was so highly regarded with a pair of huge games recently. She erupted for 22 points in a Jan. 28 game at SIU Edwardsville and outdid that with 23 points at Austin Peay on Feb. 4. Wright is the first Southeast freshman to score 20 points in a game since Tarina Nixon scored 21 at Jacksonville State on Dec. 20, 2005.
