Head coach Mark Hogan reached 900 wins in his career Tuesday after the Redhawks 5-3 win over Arkansas State. Hogan has coached at the NJCAA (Lurleen B. Wallace), NCAA Division II (West Alabama) and NCAA Division I level (Southeast). Hogan has 515 wins at Southeast Missouri. Hogan collected his 500th career win against Eastern Illinois last season on May 20, 2011.In 2007, he passed Southeast legendary coach
Joe Uhls as the schools all-time wins leader.

Kenton Parmley is currently riding a 45-game hitting streak that dates back to last season. Parmley's streak is currently tied for fourth in NCAA history with Roger Schmuck (Arizona State). He broke the OVC record of 42-games by Austin Peay's Chuck Abbott on Saturday and extended his streak to 44-games on Sunday, He broke former major leaguer Kerry Robinson's school record of 35 games in 1995 against EIU as he earned a hit in his final at-bat of the contest. Parmley has extended his hitting streak in his first at-bat 18 times. He currently ranks fourth in the country in hits with 63 on the season.

Kenton Parmley has 277 hits at Southeast Missouri ranking third all-time in the record books. He is only 11 hits from breaking Jeremy Johnsons school record of 287. Parmley is seven hits away from passing Jim Klocke for second all-time in Redhawks history as Klocke stands at 283. Parmley is third all-time in runs scored as well with 184 in his career.
2002 Ohio Valley Conference Champions To Be Honored
The 2002 Ohio Valley Conference Champions and NCAA Regional qualifiers will be honored all weekend at Capaha Field. The 2002 team tied a school record in wins with 37. They made the school's second NCAA Regional in four seasons, where they defeated Alabama, the win over the Crimson Tide marked the first time any team had beaten Alabama at home in Regional play.
