News and Notes:
Another Big Night – The Redhawks surpassed 194 as a team for the second time in three weeks with its season-best 194.425 against No. 16 Auburn last Friday. Southeast also cracked the mark with a 194.375 against Illinois State on Feb. 24. Fourteen Redhawks posted routines that scored 9.700 or better, six of which scored at least 9.800. Prior to this stretch, Southeast had not scored higher than 191.900 in any of its first six meets.
Home Cooking – Home has been where the Redhawks have been at their strongest this season. Southeast has posted its top three scores and four of its best five totals in Houck Field House. The Redhawks have cracked 190 in all four home meets and achieved their season high (194.425) in their home gym against No. 16 Auburn on March 9. Those results are a big contrast to the road production as Southeast has scored above 190 only once in its five outings away from Houck.
