Maddi Karstens, played the full 180 minutes on defense last week for Southeast. The Redhawks’ back line allowed only one goal to Milwaukee then turned around and shutout Green Bay. Karstens assisted on the game winner of Sunday’s game. She dropped a free kick into the box from 50 yards out for Esmie Gonzales to net the first goal of the game. The Redhawk defense has recorded three shutouts in four games this season, allowing just one goal to opponents.
