Emma Brune secured OVC Co-Defensive Soccer Player of the Week Sunday, her first career weekly laurel, after she notched her first career goal on March 16 to provide Southeast Missouri women's soccer a 1-0 win over Eastern Illinois in Charleston, Illinois. Tied at 0-0 at the break, Brune, a Cape Girardeau, Missouri native, poked in the game winner in the 79th minute of regulation at EIU. The Saxony Lutheran alum played in all 180 minutes over the two games this past week. Brune also finished with five shots (three on target).
