Leslie Brooks placed first in the triple jump for the second straight meet this past weekend at Purdue’s Gene Edmonds Memorial Invite in West Lafayette, Indiana. Brooks registered a mark of 39-1.25 (11.92m) to win the triple jump in her first of five attempts on Friday. She ranks third in the OVC for triple jump this season. Brooks also posted a career-best 400 meters time of 1:03.42 and ran in the 4x400 meter relay (4:12.50, ninth).
