A native of St. Louis, Renee Kertz made her transition from the softball diamond to the soccer pitch a memorable one on Sunday night. She made four second-half saves in her collegiate debut to post her first career shutout. Kertz's effort helped Southeast earn a tie against in-state rival Saint Louis. She lettered all four years for the Redhawks softball team and stands tied at the top of Southeast's all-time career RBI list with 132.
