2012:  Saw action in every game and made one start...Recorded 16 tackles with 10 solo stops...Ranked second on the team with two interceptions, one of five Redhawks with at least two picks on the season...Notched a season-high four tackles, recovered a fumble and had an interception during his first career start at Central Michigan (8/30)...Accounted for two of the three turnovers the Redhawks forced in that game...Posted four tackles and forced a fumble two weeks later at Southern Illinois (9/15)...Made two tackles and returned his second interception 19 yards during the first quarter of the season finale at Murray State (11/17).

2011: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman...Finished the year with 18 tackles...Had 12 solo tackles and assisted on six others...Turned in a season-high six tackles at Purdue (9/17)...Added a season-best five solo tackles at Tennessee State (10/8)...Recorded at least one tackle in four of his first five contests...Southeast Scholar-Athlete.

Prep: Versatile athlete who played linebacker, center, kicker and punter at Niles North High School...Earned Class 7A All-State honors...Was the first All-State football player in Niles North history...All-Conference selection...Registered a total of 300 tackles in his career and averaged more than 100 tackles per season...Averaged 37 yards per punt and kicked a career-long 48-yard field goal...Also garnered All-Academic accolades...Threw the discus and shot put for the track and field team.
