Cobb Wins OVC Specialist of the Week Honor Monday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri punter Teagan Cobb was named Ohio Valley Conference Specialist of the Week Monday.
SEMO took home the league's Specialist of the Week honor for the second-straight week.
A native of Rose Hill, Kansas, Cobb took a snap in the second quarter on a fake field goal against West Florida (Sept. 26) and ran six yards for a touchdown giving the Redhawks a 10-6 lead. He also averaged 44.3 yards on three punts with a long of 60 yards and no touchbacks.
Gardner-Webb's Giovanni Adopte (Offensive) and Trey Weems (Defensive), and UT Martin's Tate Surber (Rooke) completed this week's honorees.
SEMO is idle this week before opening OVC play at Lindenwood on October. 10.
