2012: Saw significant playing time as a backup quarterback his freshman year...Played in eight games...Ranked fifth on the team in rushing with 119 yards on 30 carries...Averaged four yards per rush...Gained a season-high 68 yards on 10 attempts vs. Eastern Kentucky (11/3)...Also scored his first career rushing touchdown on a 14-yard run with 4:03 left in the fourth quarter against the Colonels, Southeast's only TD of the game...Ran for 48 yards on a season-high 13 carries and broke free for a season-long 20-yard run in season finale at Murray State (11/17)...Completed 4-of-9 passes for 36 yards and a touchdown...First career touchdown pass was a 22-yard strike to Paul McRoberts with 2:43 remaining in the fourth quarter at Southern Illinois (9/15), one of two Redhawk TDs in the final 15 minutes of that game...Southeast Scholar-Athlete and OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Prep: Threw for 262 yards and ran for 256 in two games as a senior at Dobie High School...As a junior, threw for 1,036 yards and 10 touchdowns, and added 980 rushing yards with nine touchdowns en route to First-Team All-District honors...Named District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore after throwing for 708 yards and six TDs...Member of National Honor Society.
